You buy Fetch Lands because you need it for your decks. With Modern Horizons 2, it took 3-5 months when stores starts offering sales on Fetch Lands. Arid Mesa at $9 and Misty Rainforest at $12. It was at $14 and $22. If I'd waited that long with no guarantees? I would not have finish building commander decks. To all greenhorns in MTG, buy Rhystic Study and Sylvan Library. It's better than Fetch Lands.

I totally agree that waiting is going to be better. However, anything that is a collector box exclusive - I don't think those are going to stay down for long. I don't know what the print run was like for MH2 collector boxes, but this seems to be pretty tight. Don't think they can do a reprint for that box because of serialized cards. Not sure about the play boosters, though. If they introduce a reprint or two, or a substantial second wave, that could definitely have a big impact on putting downward pressure on at least most of the cards in the set.
  • @Mecal00
I'm so glad they reprinted the medallion cycle again!
  • @mawtaus
Definitely appreciate getting multiple treatments on the reprints. It's a great way to really make sure that the base version really dips.

This feels like such a nice MH set to me. They reprinted a lot of fun play cards that are staples between fetch, elementals, medallions, retroing the mh2 staple cards. It's a good mix that'll get ppl to open and push a lot of staples decently down. Box I got was pretty good open. Then I'll wait to pick up things I want as things they bottom.
  • I was quite surprised to see the price of Phyrexian Tower being at 42.99 USD, I bought 4 at 10.99 when they last were printed :P
  • Lots of great reprints here. Looking forward to hitting the buy button for some of the original old frame version in a few months.

Mono black Necro death shadow devotion. Can't wait to play it.
  • @jeffnorris211
I saw 500 collector boxes ripped live prior to pre release. So 6000 collector packs prior to the event. Thats why the race to the bottom happened so fast. I think we are close to there.
  • @matteobagni1235
They might want you feel like it does, but commander doesn't rotate. I have seen people playing with the oldest versions of decks, still working just fine!
  • @KelzBelzGG
You can get the evoke elementals in the special guest slot in play boosters. I pulled a Solitude in my prerelease
  • @SaysDom
I'm a buyer of a full cycle of foil borderless medallion. Just for the art.
  • @alphonse2234
Nothing is safe from another reprint if it isn’t on the reserve list. Buy cards you want to play with, not to make a profit.
  • @theblan1k0ne
So, I’ve been checking the market lately. Now I just have one question. Why are Pyretic Ritual and Rite of Flame (LIST) increasing in price? I also noticed that Desperate Ritual didn’t go up at all.
