This is the first out of three versions I'm going to do of a custom house modeled off of the houses in Sanctuary. This is the beginning of my rebuild of Sanctuary. In this video, I use a PC and Xbox mod called Snappy Builds for the walls and warehouse pieces from the Contraptions DLC. I'll be doing another version of this with one of the unlocked settlement object mods that's available for all platforms and then one that is strictly vanilla.

when you think about it, this build is much more realistic as well as generally impressive. i mean, people are still building robots in the post apocalypse, you'd think some people would know how to build a house based off old-world designs instead of spending 200 years scrapping shit together from ruins.

Let's build a house that the Sole Survivor finally deserves after 200 years!! That cordlessVII guy you were talking about sounds like a genius. Oh, for Next week could you possibly do a special Xmas build?

Imagine playing as a man who is broken inside, his beard is unshaven, his hair is a mess, he wears rags and uses nothing but a combat knife and pistol to fight. He is desperate and yearning for death but he knows he can not end it himself, his only solace is his house, he has rebuilt his old house in a new location, he can not stand to be so close to his former home and his wife's resting place but he needs that house to hold onto as a symbol of his waning humanity.

I've had the Snappy Build mod for so long but I never thought to build something like this. Awesome build.

Why is building things from scratch so satisfying
-
now i can make hidden areas using that wallpaper glitch!
-
Wow the house looks fricken amazing!! It's so Lore friendly, keep up the awesome work bro. Love all your vids
-
Looks like a proper house. Good job kind sir

i just want the mod that gets rid of all that extra crap like ruble dirt, you know that extra crap we hate lingering around 😒
-
Great build my dude. Just seeing what's possible with unrestricted mods on xbox and PC makes me angry that Sony hates us, but this build did give me ideas. Thanks again!

That guy cordless that suggest this video is the man haha! Awesome work! Those settlers sure are lucky.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for showing snappy kits, i had no clue it existed. Its so good.
-
Man, the finished product is awesome!! Great work. :)

I know I'm 3 years late to the game, but kudos for building the first Sanctuary house I've yet seen that I would actually consider living in!
-
Every build you make i think it is amazing, but then a week later you make something 10 times better. Great Build.

Ghoul Mike Holmes: I'm here at sanctuary hills in the Commonwealth and we've got an entire group of houses that are completely falling apart because of the irradiated wasteland. The new owners need our help, and we're here to " MAKE IT RIGHT! " This isn't just a " Home Inspection " It's a " HOLMES INSPECTION!!! " 😎👍☠️🤣

You flippin genius!!!! I never knew or thought about doing the trick to add two slanted roof pieces together. I wanted that feature in a previous build I did but had to compromise instead. That just earned you a new sub. Great idea showing non weapon and armor mods like everyone else does. I like building and creating unique buildings for my settlements. Looks like I'm about to binge on your vids. (That sounds wrong)

Nice job! It's fun to see all the mod stuff. You have inspired me. Just picked up a copy of Fallout 4 for my brand new XBOX One S today!

Very well done, and blends in far better than a shack wall house monstrosity.

building tip i hear no one talk about and just learned. you console TCL, then float about selecting, then canceling the selct, and its like the wall or floor piece you selected doesnt exist. Pop on the piece you want, TCL again, and its all good. Alternate to moving pieces.
