The train scene where they defend Jean is so sick. One of my favorite scenes of a comic book movie. Along with Night Crawler going savage on them. Gave me flashbacks to the opening of X2.

You didnt talk about the famous stair walk of xavier.

I like how this movie is set in the early 90's where Magneto goes from looking like Michael Fassbender to Ian Mckellen in just a few years when the original X-Men movie takes place.

The first 15 mins and the last 20 mins of this movie were really solid. I even liked Hans Zimmer score a lot too.

Idk why but I genuinely don’t find this movie bad. Same thing with Eternals I think it’s overhated

Simon Kinberg might not be a good writer But you can bet that he's a great producer It was because of him that we got "First Class", "Deadpool" and "Logan" And not to mention "The Martian" too

The not so subtle MCU (Mutant Containment Unit) collecting the mutants to imprison them. 😂😂

So, the original plan of this movie was to be even closer to the comic books and the animated series, even when that was scrapped, they still had the villains coming straight from the comic book storyline? Honestly, I think this movie gets too much shit, I do quite like this movie and I think Sophie did a good job as Jean.

Anything that has Nightcrawler gets an automatic win for me. Feed me Kurt, I long for swashbuckle boy.

Live action Jean Grey has the potential to be as loved as Wanda if done right.

This movie rocks! Hans Zimmer’s score crushes and that final sequence on the train is next level!

The kid running through the halls at the end is definitely Kid Omega

For all of its flaws…this movie has some good re-watchability. The train sequence is badass.

And just like in the 97 reboot of the animated series; the X-Men have a telephone direct line to a government official. And having Dazzler in the movie is a callback to Dazzler being part of the dark Phoenix saga in the 90s cartoon run.

3:34 the title in Turkiye was only Dark Phoenix and many people (general audience) went to the theaters without realising it was an X-Men installment.

I like this movie especially the train scene
  • @RoweRowe
i was literally just watching this last night

I’ve also been rewatching all the X-Men films, but this one I never watched since it came out until last night, due to all the bad buzz about it. But I enjoyed actually it last night when I watched it. It wasn’t great, but also not as bad as people said it was on Twitter.
