Cleaning Lionfish on my new table

Upgraded from a sheet of plywood to a real cleaning table and it sure is worth the money spent. Also bought a 5 day cooler so now we ice the fish up and clean them the next morning. When I cleaned the lionfish the same day I would be tired, hot and anxious to get the chores over that I would cut the spines off first to prevent getting stung. Now the next morning with a longer filet knife and a good table no need to cut the spines off.
