old lego games dont have voice acting, that´s why no one talks, and is funnier
  • I adore the lack of voice acting, it gives the game so much charm and if you already know the story of Harry Potter, it adds a whole new dimension to it, and can even make the more melancholic parts seem lighthearted

The reason why there is no voices is because it’s a old LEGO game so it didn’t have voice acting.

Also the charm of LEGO games was the fact that they had no voice

I have had this game for my Xbox 360 for years before 2018 though my games came with 2 separate discs one for years 1-4 and another for years 5-7. One of my favourite LEGO games ever and I still play it to this date and will never stop playing it. Such a fun game.

They need to do this with LEGO STAR WARS COMPLETE SAGA
  • I’ve had these games on the wii, ps3 and ps4, me and my sister 100% each time over christmas. Love them.

As someone who has read the entire series of books about 10 times and watched all the movies dozens of times, I Played through all of them on PC, bought them again on switch and they are just as amazing.

Thanks for this! As a newbie to gaming period, this helped me decide to go ahead and get the game. Thank you!
  • I'm new to LEGO games / movies, and will enjoy playing this thank you for the review it really helped. I can see the benefit in no voice acting... as you'd have to do it in several languages, the current set-up transcends boundaries. Just wish your own sound was consistent throughout, couldn't hear everything clearly. But otherwise great review thanks.

I played the original game and the idea that you can collect “almost everything” on your first run through each level is laughable.
  • I was 26 when the sixth Harry Potter book came out. I was never a reader until I picked up philosopher's stone and never looked back ; read every book about 7 times a before the release what's the seventh book. Truly magical times.

I enjoyed these games on the PS3 back in the day. The only thing I hated was the bugs in both games that prevented me from getting what should've been 2 easy Platinum Trophies.

i had both the games on steam, a game breaking bug corrupted my save file in years 1-4 causing me to not get a few gold bricks, then i got the switch version and i finally completed them.

Just got this game, I used to have it on the wii and loved it, so glad I can enjoy it again.

I had the first game years ago whem it came out on my nintendo dsi but i got glitched in the second year or so and stopped playing. When i saw the collection discounted on switch i bought it and instantly dived back into the nostalgia. I havent noticed any of the problems mentioned in the video, exept the camera and slightly wonly controls when trying to do precise platforming but i think that is an overall shortcoming of playing with a controler. I immensely enjoy the games and humor. The new humorously look at a loved story. I would reccomend them to anyone who is even slightly interested in harry potter. I did notice that my game crashed a few times, but i havent found any one complaining about it so it might just be a fault of my switch...
