the actor who plays Ivar is as good as the one who played ragnar. like father like son.

Ivar truly deserves to come out of this war victorious. Every struggle he's been through has only made him stronger

Why so many hate on Ivar when he wanted revenge for his mother? He wanted that revenge bad. Now he's a different man. When Hvitserk told him he killed her Ivar gave a nod like he forgot all about it. He's changed. He's the true Heir and Ragnar knew what he was about. He knew he'd kill everyone no matter who. Ragnar's dream of farming died a while back. Ragnar wanted war and he unleashed Ivar the Boneless unto the world. When Bjorn wanted revenge it was acceptable to so many. Why? Ivar the Boneless is the chosen one.

Ivar really is very complex and interesting. At this point, he is definitely the best character on the show.

No legs,still the most powerful character in the show.

Ragnar chose Zurik above all of you, he knew that Zurik will be the only one to remain loyal

I've always being a fan of vulnerable, broken, bloody cunning villains with complex minds. And ivar? He's the definition of complex. I love it!

The fact that you cannot help but love ivar even though you know he is a tyrant tells how good a character he is

There's something in this character that touches me. He's so different I can understand his pain and it makes me sad. He's so right but sometimes he approaches things in the wrong way( burning the people). He's clever and there's something charming about him. I had the same feelings with Ragnar.

"What is it that you really want?" "Revenge" Everything he does is for revenge. Revenge to sigurd for being humilliated, freya for being betrayed, bjorn for his mother and most importantly...the world for underestimating him

When Ivar speaks. And his eyes are all wide open and he has this little smile/smirk. He looks like a psychopath trying his best. Utter most best. Not to kill you

Ragnar and Ivar are the best charcters that happend in this show.

I’m not saying Ivar didn’t do some crazy shit but I’d go after someone too if they killed my mama. Also, the guy had to prove himself worthy far more than just carrying a name. Yes, becoming king went to his head but I’m pretty sure all the guy ever wanted was loyalty, to keep his spirituality, and to protect the ones he cared about. He was also a smart and fierce warrior. Where his legs failed, his other skills exceeded. I’m Team Ivar!

My King, my favourite son of Ragnar. He so strong and misunderstood. Hes never been evil only ruthless and angry ...and in constant pain usually. Hes grown so much and calmed down. I hate how everyone was against him and said hes in the wrong for not being able to let his mothers murder go, any normal person would want justice and revenge. Was fine for viewers when Bjorn wanted it why? Because people disliked Aslaug, she was still his mother and just as close to him as Lagertha was to Bjorn, if not more considering Ivar spent most of his time indoors. I love him and understood him from day one. Never once thought he wanted to kill Ragnar when he returned like a lot of others did, he was the most loyal and respectful, just like Floki raised him to be. #TeamIvar❤ hope the brothers only grow closer this time instead of apart, or at least just be civil. This is Ivars show after Ragnar died, it wouldnt be watchable without Alex Hogh. Thank you for this great reaction to this complex character with incredible strength in the mind & upper body.

What a perfect character he has become!! From young and inexperienced to be humbled by defeat, then seeing he didn’t want to be like Oleg. He is now wise, but still crazy enough to be feared. He is just like Ragnar now.

I’m kind of happy how they presented Ivar as being a God. He thought he was all-powerful and couldn’t be stopped but when he had it taken all away from him it has changed him in to a much more mature person in season 6!
