I live on Guam. I know how much devastating hurricane we call it typhoons can be we had paka. It lifted small car's and cracked concrete, destroyed a gas station. Peeled metals of the roofs. Left us with no power, water, food. After 3 days the freezer, fridge started to defrost. We was on our own. And no gas because the reserve gas was burning up. We had to wait 15 days before the federal help came. And then we waited 16, 24 hours getting in line. Waiting for the public service to give out food stamps, cash 💸 help. Even with cash, food stamps there was no food to buy. No gas for the car's. Thank God we had chicken and other animals. To cook and feed the family. The hospital's had back up generator but with out gas ⛽ well??they were overwhelmed with injured people coming in.they had to wait almost 6,hours to see a doctor. Without gas the government pulled in the school busses to take people from the mayor's offices to where you want to go. And they really Tried everything they can help. Some of us was just mad at the people in public office workers. And started to yell at them. I pay taxes 😒. And they where mad at us saying yes just like me. It was a catastrophe. Because none of us wanted to go home. with nothing when they started to close the doors. They had to call the police. They started to talk to the people. Just come tomorrow. They are going to give out numbers. You don't need to wait. You can come to the front line. So at least we can have the help we needed desperately.

  • Prayers to everybody out there. Although tropical states are Beautiful in nature, they come with deadly disasters. Glad I live a mile high above sea elevation
