You ever notice that Joel's song goes "If I ever were to lose you, I'd surely lose myself." And that the farther along in the game you get, the less happy and more vengeful and violent Ellie becomes, like she is losing herself.

I don't know how some people could think the writing in this game is bad. That space shuttle scene with Joel is one of the most moving scenes I've seen in any medium. The scenes with Ellie and Dina communicate so well how they're feeling, how they feel about each other, their awkwardness and vulnerability. I think this game is an amazing piece of story-telling.

The reason it took Joel a long time to find that tape was because Apollo 11 is super important in history! It took him forever because he probably had to travel to even think where it was. The dedication for Ellie. Man I loved his character
