Rachel Maddow on the Supreme Court's immunity decision: "This is a death squad ruling. This is a ruling that says that as long as you can construe it as an official or quasi-official act, you can do absolutely anything. Absolutely anything and never be held accountable, not only while you are president, but forever."

They don't think Biden will do anything with this new power. Its really time for Biden to use this power as a teachable moment.
  • This is worse than Trump. I don't want this kind of unchecked and unethical power in the hands of anyone.

  • PLEASE stop using the word "conservative". THIS IS FASCISM - IT IS HERE NOW.

How can one man and six judges distroy over 200+, years of Democracy.
  • @KatMSmith
And at one time each and every one of them said that no one was above the law, not even the president 🤬
  • Please, let’s all remember Mitch McConnell’s responsibility for this. I’d like to hear his name in every report.

Biden should immediately demand that both Thomas and Alito resign or face consequences. Hey he's immune

    Yesterday it was 2024. Today it’s 1938, and it’s a nightmare!
  • Unbelievable. That’s all I can think to say, just that word, over and over.
  • @KalijahAnderson
Biden needs to demonstrate to them just how bad this ruling is.

I don’t care what your political affiliation is, you should be deeply concerned by this. Of the 330 million+ people in this country, this decision is good for only 1.

  • This is disgraceful! Has the Supreme Court lost its mind with this ruling? Nobody is above the law! I’m afraid of what our beloved country is becoming. Shame on you Supreme Court, shame on you!

If the legal system fails, a brave American needs to take justice into their own hands.
  • Will this allow Bidden to disband the supreme court and appoint a new supreme court with a real code of ethics???

I'm a level headed Dutch guy. We don't get really passionate about anything except sports. But for the life of me I don't understand why the streets of all of your major US cities aren't flooded with protesters now. Whether you're a republican or democrat, can't you see your country is nosediving into fascism?

This is going to set some absurd prescident. As a Canadian I'm worried for you guys.

Where does it say in the constitution that the supreme justice judges can make laws? Aren’t they supposed to be making sure people don’t miss use laws?
