"oh no" when siobhan realized she was about to get absolutely CLOWNED ON makes me laugh so hard
  • @ultimateninjaboi
The sad part is, she almost escaped the clowning. AND THEN SHE DOUBLE DIPPED. Hero
  • "They use Nellie the Elephant to train people in CPR. I cannot think of anything that would lower your authority more in a life-saving situation. 'Stand back, I have been trained in CPR. If you would just give me some space .... 'Nellie the Elephant packed her trunk and slipped away from the circus ....' I imagine the family standing there, going "What are you doing to my Dad?!"" ~ Dara O Briain

I love Zach desperately trying not to spread misinformation about CPR only to abandon that mission to clown on Siobhan and her elephant song
  • Absolutely LOsing it over the whole room going silent and Murph piping up with "just let me die" 😭
  • As an English person. I have no clue what Siobhan is talking about I was taught to do it to staying alive.

Would love to see Sioban GM a game set in the UK which is written with the sole purpose of confusing the absolute f**k out of those Yanks!

Literally as soon as they started talking about CPR songs Nellie popped into my head and I fucking knew it would breach containment though Siobhan
  • Former EMT here. You want a steady 100 beats per minute for a CPR song. The two best songs are either "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees or "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen. You should really pick "Staying Alive" though, just in case you are the sort to start singing out loud.

I remember Nellie the Elephant, Siobhan. You're not crazy, we're just old.

"scrunkles are yeasted" is something I need on a t-shirt

the theme of junior year adventuring parties making fun of england is honestly wonderful to me as a brit because yes it's all quite silly and you hardly even notice it until you have to try and explain it to someone who's not english

England: a dream to some... a nightmare to others! (He says from England.)

EVERYBODY: "To Bombay a traveling circus came, they brought an Intelligent elephant and Nellie was her name One dark night she slipped her iron chain And off she ran to Hindustan And was never seen again OOH! Nellie the elephant packed her trunk And said goodbye to the circus Off she went with a trumpety-trump Trump, trump, trump The head of the herd was calling from far, far away They met one night in the silver light On the road to Mandalay OOH! Nellie the elephant packed her trunk And trundled off to the jungle Off she went with a trumpety-trump Trump, trump, trump Night by night she danced to the circus band When Nellie was leading the big parade She looked so proud and grand No more tricks for Nellie to perform They taught her how to take a bow And she took the crowd by storm OOH! Nellie the elephant packed her trunk And said goodbye to the circus Off she went with a trumpety-trump Trump, trump, trump!"

There are a number of songs that can all be used for CPR. This includes Another One Bites The Dust, Tearin' Up My Heart, Heartbreaker (by Led Zepplin), Bye Bye Bye, It's My Life, Achy Breaky Heart, and Highway to Hell. Really it's any song with 100-120 bpm, but those are some of the ironic ones.

I knew the Staying alive one. I was told you start at "Ha Ha Ha ha, staying alive" and just repeat it till EMS or someone with proper training arrives.

I thoroughly enjoy "England seems more and more made up" from the series who's 3rd season is named for the 3rd year of high school: "Junior year". I believe in the previous adventuring party they made the comment "junior year is when you're now older than half the students at school" - makes sense
