Exactly 10 years ago, on August 3, 2013, BeamNG had its initial release. The game changed a lot over these years, in this video I'm going to show you the entire history of BeamNG!

Sorry everyone, I have two things to point out/correct: 1. I meant wonky, not well w*nky at 2:11, I must have been asleep writing my script xD 2. To all the people that want to get access to the 0.1 version of BeamNG, I got it from the owner of Norte MP, @fr3ddycr on Discord, and he won't make it accessible to the public. If you still want to play an old BeamNG version, here is a link to the 0.3 techdemo: archive.org/download/beamng-techdemo-0.3-setup_201…

I want this game to have a mud dynamic like spin tires has!

The best 25 bucks I’ve ever spent. The devs of this game are incredible and the past 5 years on Steam & watching the development since 2014 will be moments that will never be topped in gaming. I got goosebumps watching this. It’s been an incredible journey, not just for me, my friends, content creators, and the audience, but the Devs who made one of the best developed games of all time all for a 1 time price with consistent free updates. Truly a work of art and an example of how how to make a sim. It’s been an incredible decade and looking forward to the next 10! ❤🎉🥂

The biggest update this game needs is node beam collision, instead of just node end collision. Then parts wouldn't clip through each other or get stuck to each other.

I've been following beamng since day one and only reason I bought myself a steam deck is to play beamng. This is not a game, beamng is beyond that, it will only grow to become the best sim racer, best offroad sim and ofc, absolutely the best at vehicle damage. Dear devs, hats off to you and thank you for your hard work!

Paint scratches would be very cool. Weather like nice looking rain and thunderstorms and snow would be just amazing. Beamng as it is, is already a top-notch game. Playing with wheel, pedals and shifter make the driving even more fun. I absolutely love this game.
  • I sure hope Beamng will remain in early access forever, so that they can keep updating and adding things regularily and keep touch with their community as they(ve successfully done since the game's first release :D

The progress the dev team has made over the past decade is amazing. It's one of my favorite titles to play, especially with the collaboration with Automation. Absolute game changer. It gets better every update.

Rigs of Rods was a HUGE part of my childhood, so glad you covered that part!
  • @ColossalCereal
That's crazy that it's been a decade. I remember playing the tech demo, and then I believe the paid alpha version was released a week or two later. I vividly remember waking up the morning the first public alpha released and asking my parents if I could get it. I'm 23 now and still love Beamng. Glad this was a part of my childhood.

Awesome video Skyfall! I love your new video style <3
  • @87square58
So many of these updates felt like they were released yesterday, happy birthday BeamNG!
  • @kazik997
Great video! Personally, i think that when the full game releases it will still get updates, but not as big as what we get right now, maybe a new car or map every now and then
  • @BeamngTV
This was a nice nostalgic video, since you brought me back into years 2013/14 where I found out about this game. I also played the Rigs of Rods before the BeamNG came out. I´m very excited for the 0.30 , I believe since it was 10 years of BeamNG Release recently, it surely will be a big one! The Utility update sounds very exciting :) Good video m8 !
  • @drumstick74
Wow, you did your homework, and nicely presented! :) Thanks! I got the game about two years ago, and I find it very generous that we keep getting free updates to a game that seems to be forever in development. Great community as well, with talented modders creating content for the game. Also possible to play MultiPlayer through a mod, with up to 10 players per map. 👌

Great video, the fun thing is even remember when west coast was added and i was so exited and had alot of fun playing there. The fact that that was in 2016 is weird cus i was only eight yrs but i remeber enjoing beamng just as much as i do today.
  • @johnn1056
The video was really detailed and talk about pretty much the whole history of beamng good job!!!!
  • @AdolfoWWolf
Man i loved this, i follow this project since the CryEngine demo, at that time i was really frustrated that no game had that kind of soft body deformation in game, and pretty much every game never had a good body simulation even among the best racing sims, so imagine how intrigued and happy i was to find that demo. Curiously i never got to play any of this, my computer never has been able to run it, but seeing the last updates, and this video, plus some other projects i follow, i guess it's time to finally upgrade my PC. Thanks for this video man, great that you got access to those old versions.
  • @Ultra4115_
This video really makes me appreciate how much they add every year :)
