I think this takes the cake as the most unique waterfall i have ever had the opportunity to paddle. This drop carves its path directly through a massive hole in the granite. this is the only known runnable drop on this insanely steep creek. well worth the 2-3 hr hike all the way up there!

Shout out to Todd Wells for the First Descent on this one.

  • Nature is so beautiful, the fact that this place exists and I haven’t heard of makes you know there are so many equally beautiful places out there…
  • Gopros are awesome but they make everything look small and easy. They make me feel like I could drop off a 50' waterfall tunnel.

That is a very interesting shape that waterfall carved through that rock! Definitely a unique drop to paddle: thank you for sharing! (And no, I wouldn't run it! :-D)
  • Ahh, Monmouth canyon! We canyoneered that route years ago. Nice work, you nailed that waterfall!
  • that was a cool ride! that launch took guts and precision - if not done right a huge head bash! loved that tunnel run! like a water Twilight Zone!

yep... nice to have that cam. my mom introduced me to this run back in the 80's. looks like it hasn't changed at all...
  • This popped up randomly on YouTube, your killing it Ed!💯

I love kayaking and would love to start and maybe end up doing stuff like this one day! Not so sure my body can handle it though. This was a sick drop
  • The amount of things you have to keep track of and do all at the same time in this video is insane. There are so many things that can go wrong. I mean, if you even just barely clip something you could get knocked out, because you’re going so fast. Or, if you land the wrong way, you could break your back on impact. Even if the paddle just goes the wrong way, it could pull your shoulder out of the sockets and tear ligament in hand and shoulder. Wow. Just wow. This is just amazing. I’m subbed to your channel, and Dane Jackson’s channel, and you two just amaze me every time I see a video. So much practice, focus, skill, mental toughness, discipline, training, and so on and so forth. It’s a real shame you both don’t have 500k+ subscribers. Such a beautiful sport.
  • Wow, I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
  • What a rush.!! And cool location, wish I had the guts to actually do that... I am down for high adrenaline activities but anything involved with water makes me think twice... The water doesn’t care if we’re having adrenaline filled fun 😂

There is WAY too little recognition for this man.
