Derek Ryan ends up caught on the ice with a broken stick yesterday in the last 2 minutes during the 6 on 5 and threw himself in the way of the puck multiple times that ends up leading to the turn over for Dri to take it up ice. Great heart to see it!

Man, Kane does deserve some props after all the issues he was having. Oilers took a gamble and he is playing his heart out for them.

I found Brett kulak steeped up aswell he was activated into the rush multiple times
  • As oilers fans we’ve all been absolutely begging for Dylan Holloway to be in the lineup and now look what happens when he’s given a chance😂

People focus too much on scoring depth, but pay little attention to detail on defense depth of the forwards. Janmark, Derek Ryan, Carrick, Perry, McLeod, Foegele and Holloway have all busted their asses. They've drawn penalties, winning puck battles in their own zone, backchecking at key moments etc etc. Even McLeods line have completely shut down Byfield's line. Byfield couldn't sniff an inch of a scoring chance. McLeod's line were just all over him all series

Ceci and Kulak have been most impressive.. Most fans and analysts were thinking Ceci was going to be an absolute ball and chain around the Oilers ankles in the playoffs and that not replacing him would be disaster - but he's been very solid and consistent; an absolute rock back there.
  • @DmanDexter
Very impressed with Vinny. He's played good all season
  • Edmontonian here, caught the shut-out game live at the roger's place watch party! Incredible performance by Skinner, I won't be forgetting that experience any time soon! 🧡💙

Derek Ryan he only played a few games but his commitment to the game and his defensive play he’s incredible

Imagine an Edmonton Vs Colorado Series to get to the cup....chills

2024 Draisaitl plays terrific defence. Props to Paul Coffey.
  • @Mitchmyoutube
The oilers of last year wouldn’t have been able to hold onto that lead in the third period. Love to see it

After last year, so many pundits stated that Vinnie didn’t even deserve to be in the NHL. It was his first bloody year. Now look at him. He’ll make mistakes but he’s built for playoff hockey
  • I was at the game last night. Holy fuck, it was a spectacular finale to an amazing series.
  • @lizwiens671
Kane. His attitude, his swagger, his compete level is exactly what the Oilers need.
  • I feel like nugent hopkins never gets enough love in videos he’s always solid.
  • Definitely HUGE props to Skinner and Desharnais. Skinner is turning into the goalie that they have always dreamed that he would, and Vinnie is that defender that comes out of the blue to go from a 7th man D to be arguably in the top 4 or 5.
