“This ain’t a rivalry, they always kick our ass”- drew doughty
-
Doughty himself even admitted that this version of the Oilers is so far beyond the previous two they've had to face. So much depth was placed where it needed to be added, and key players are stepping up in key moments. LA was an absolute defensive powerhouse all year, but with how structured edmonton is in the offensive zone, this was inevitable. Personally I saw it happening in 6 or 7 again, but they exceeded even my expectations.

Kings aren’t or weren’t easy. Oilers had to stay tight to the plan or the Kings would give them a run.

This lady has the same last name as my chel guy
-
They handled one of the best defensive teams, handily. nuff said.

1. LA had the 2ND BEST Penalty Kill in the entire league during the regular season 2. LA allowed the 3RD FEWEST goals against in the entire league during the regular season
-
Agreed. Oilers are hungry. Eye of the Tiger.
-
They are the best team in the league since Knoblauch took over
-
I’m gonna say both. The Oilers know exactly how to beat the Kings, so they’re an easy opponent in that regard. But the Oilers are also a great team. Great offense, great defense, good depth, good goaltending. The Kings were one of the best defensive teams in the regular season. In the playoffs that meant nothing as the Oilers just dismantled the Kings defense and penalty kill.

Any playoff matchup is not easy, Kings fought hard every game except 3.

Kings are not good enough with the scoring power. They need to add some offence

It's The Pound er' 🤟
-
Colorado might be weak in net so that might be a stopper for them
-
Well the Oilers are going to be facing faster forwards as they move forward, if they can keep up good defence against them, then they may have a chance, skinner is not really known to be an acrobatic goalie so if their is not good structure in front of him, he may struggle

Has anyone else noticed that the pwhl has zero male pundits ?! That league really needs to get with the times and diversify!
-
She’s talking as if an oilers avs series hasn’t happened before lmao

Don't forget Bouchard on defence. I think he is leading playoffs in D points.

If the leafs had Draisaitl and McDavid, life would be fair
-
Oilers v. NYR in the final would be my choice.

The Kings would have destroyed Vancouver or Nashville.
