Four teams left, who are YOU picking to win it all?
-
This show always makes me look forward to tomorrows Aotearoa Rugby Podcast!
-
What cracks me up about JK is that his Blues are playing the type of boring, forward dominated rugby that he’s always moaning about but loves it when it’s winning games for his team, and on the other hand the Canes are playing exactly the type of attacking rugby he says all teams need to be playing and he hardly has 20 seconds worth of anything to say about them lmao
-
Why are they so invested in Finlay Christie? Average halfback at best.
-
Canes have some points to prove UptheCanes
-
Mark Robinson said a lot of words but he didn’t say a danm thing
-
Seriously why isn't the panel talking about the HURRICANES - so bloody bias . Unbelievable !
-
Here we are. One week into the finals of a season where the Hurricanes were #1 for the most weeks, finished #1, and had a huge QF win, and STILL this panel won't admit that they are the competition favourites. Generally, I quite like this show. But, man, has the bias been blatant this season.
-
I can’t wait to see Razor ‘s the 1rst squad the 24th June !
-
The obsession with Christie is ridiculous. They act like he’s penciled into the ABs for some reason. He’s never proved himself in the black jersey. Funaki is more impressive, his style is suited to NZ rugby. They keep raving about his defence like, when have we ever had to pick a halfback for their defence?? You could legit put any halfback in the comp behind that pack and the Blues would still be in the same position.

JK: You’ve been really quiet on the debacle. Mark Robinson: Well I was busy having two first class trips to England, staying at 5 star hotels and eating at 5 star restaurants oh and stopping at Japan for some expensive sushi. Oh and I did a road trip to see a mate down the road. Oh and I watched the chiefs game. JK: why you haven’t shown leadership and done a media release/interview to help supporters know what’s going on. What were you doing on those trips? Mark Robinson: Um. Networking. (And making sure the management at NZRU spend all the profits, with travel, food, endless meetings and slush fund activities taking as long as possible to make decisions as per usual. Also to make sure that we don’t have enough money to pay $500 for a sound technician at all our press conferences so millions of all blacks fans can’t hear the press questions). FML 🤦♀️
-
Every time I listen to Mark Robinson talk he never answers any questions, he just dances around it. Idk why he keeps his cards close to him, just come out with it, people want to know.
-
I ask again. What exactly has Reiko Ioane done to make him the best 13 in NZ? He's been outplayed at SR and international level for the past 2 years. ALB, Proctor, Tupea (even Poihipi & Rona) offered more and was more consistent. When last have you heard Reiko gave a mom performance or a performance worth noticing? It's all reputation.
-
Mark Robinson eludes simple answers to every question.
-
Sky Sports seems to have an anti-Canes bias, Tony Johnston has never said a positive thing about them when commentating
-
If we were sleeping on the Chiefs no ones told TAB yet lol
-
god help us if Havili makes the ABs
-
Mils "Sort of" Muliaina. Seriously, he says "sort of" in at least 25% of his sentences. EDIT - I checked, he said it 32 times this episode.
-
The Wellington NPC players know what it is like to win, both the NPC and RS, Hawkes Bay players too. Laidlaw knows how to win finals as he did many times.
-
asks JK a question about chiefs - ignores it and starts bleating about the blues
