Land is not getting any cheaper! And whether you believe land is in a bubble right now or not, it continues to climb in price all across the country. Today I am going to make a few comparisons between Illinios land and Missouri land pricing, more particularly Southern Illinois land vs Southern Missouri land. As of today's video posting we are supposed to be closing on our future new 280 acre Southern Missouri farm, and then we'll be listing our Southern Illinois home and 22 acres of land for sale. If you'd like to join us for our new life adventures and want to catch up here are a couple of video links from our other YouTube channel of buying the Missouri home and land:

  • We just closed on our new 60 acre piece yesterday, NE Mo near kirksville, super excited! Great deer and turkey numbers and may be where we retire time will tell. Still following along on your journey Kap

I am so grateful for my few hundred acres in Northern Arkansas. I will pass it on to my son someday. Land is still reasonable in the area for now
  • Wow really under $4000 an acre, stay away from Tyler Texas Smith County, a rural acre goes for $20,000. It’s getting really crazy down here 🤦.
  • Good luck on finding what you're looking for 👍🏻🇺🇲
  • Curious what county your Illinois home is in? I live in Alto pass, in union county. Its about 35mins to Cape. Where the big cross is.

Yep, you couldn't pay me to move to Illinois. While I'm not necessarily looking for land, I dread looking at new house listings; because prices are so high.

Land. I heard they're not making any more of it.
  • Kap,no question , hands down MO is more freedom oriented state politics-wise than Hellinois on the whole but i would caution you or anyone moving to Missouri that this state is definitely in the crosshairs of the WEF/Globalists crowd and we arguably have a purplish political makeup when it comes to politicians despite having a conservative population. There's alot of out of state money coming in and while we have some real good politicians at the state level fighting to keep the state free, we have a terrible state government overall considering we have a supermajority of Republicans in both house and senate and governor .I'm fairly involved w various grassroots organizations here and i could share w you things that you would not believe that are being pushed. We are not Hellinois, but in many aspects we are headed that way, slowly because people are asleep at the wheel or focusing too much on DC. I urge you to get involved with some of these organizations when you move here as we need people like you to help keep us relatively free - i hate politics as much as anyone but if you ignore it, it doesn;t ignore you. Good luck w you closing and welcome (back) to MO
  • People moving to Missouri trying to change it like they had in CA or New York.

Washington is the poorest county in Missouri. I live in Southern franklin county.
