šŸ”“ REVISED MINERAL ANALYSIS COMPARISON CHART
In the video regarding Redmond's Real Salt, I noted zero for Calcium, Magnesium & Potassium. Regrettably, I missed this vital information in the mineral analysis.
āž”ļøHERE IS THE CORRECTED CHART: bit.ly/3qUMTGy

šŸŸ¢NOTE: I meant to say the Khewra mine tunnels stretch 25 miles, not that they are 25 miles straight down.

šŸŸ¢ Note Regarding the Celtic Sea Salt Mineral Analysis:
The mineral analysis used in this video for Celtic Sea Salt was from a report 15+ years old. The analysis that is now provided on the website & packaging has differing values. The company website says they test for over 70 elements and get about 60 back in readings. There is no reason to doubt this. However, the current analysis given does not provide the full spectrum for viewing, only partial. Additionally, the values are presented in percentages without a given serving size. Due to these information gaps, I chose to use the complete, older analysis in the video comparison. Is the older analysis irrelevant? I do not believe so. But as stated in the video, the values for all 3 salts are a generalization since it is near impossible to have the exact same values for each shaker of salt. Natural products have natural occurring variances. The bottom line is this, all the salts covered in the video have a broad spectrum of trace minerals and elements that meet or exceed 60. If you wish to crack the case with your own research between the new and older spectral analyses, the pleasure can be all yours!

A year and a half ago, I was suffering from extreme edema in my legs and feet. I'm disabled and cant walk more than a few steps. Of course, my Dr put me on a salt restricted diet, which didn't help. I quit white table salt, bought Himalayan pink salt and began drinking a glass of water with 2 big pinches of pink salt and the juice of half a lemon or lime or a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar every day. Suffice it to say, my legs and feet haven't swollen in over a year.
  • Greetings from Pakistan. Himalayan salt also comes in black, white and the rarest is brown/copper coloured. Alexander the Great's horse licked the rocks around Khewra Salt Mines, so it has been around a long time. There is also an asthma treatment centre inside the mines as the salty air has healing benefits for asthmatics.

Iā€™m going to buy all of them and mix them together and Iā€™ll have the best salt in the world. Hell yeah!
  • @cablesj
Your presentationā€”no nonsense, no wasted wordsā€”is one of the best I've seen. Also you left no stone (crystal?) unturned or examined. Thank you!
  • Redmonds absolutely stopped my studden electrolytes imbalances..
  • Love your gentle soft yet highly informative thorough explanation. You've answered all my concerns thank you so much!
  • @sandyjones1014
I add a pinch of salt to my drinking water. I use pink salt, and I've used my daughter's Redmonds salt. My pink salt dissolves completely but the Redmonds always leaves sands/particles that do not. For this reason, I like my pink salt better.
  • My horse loves the Redmond Rock. It's a rock of salt that hangs on a fence post by a rope. It's great for getting horses to drink more water, important in avoiding colic.
  • For me, the gray Celtic sea salt tastes the best. Itā€™s absolutely delicious, although I like Redmondā€™s too.

All these levels of minerals tested should be taken with a grain of salt. šŸ˜‰
  • @asherwinkel
Very well put together video, I have been curious about this for a while now and you broke this down elegantly with sources neatly linked to back up your information. Thank youšŸ™šŸ»
  • Different flavors from each but I support Redmonds. I lived in the area and knew many of the families and the owners of the mine. The bentonite clay is also great. They are honest, use third-party analysis reports, and are 100% American. They have really grown in the last 20 years. My only gripe with them is that they now cover their trucks so the salt rocks don't fall on the side of the farm roads when they make turns. No more free salt for us, LOL, but they are usually more affordable compared to the others.

This video is everything I needed and nothing I didn't. Excellent work, well delivered, in a concise and easy to understand manner.
  • @daslous89
I bought all three and mixed them together. That solves any problem.
  • @NoFeArChiC2
Celtic Sea Salt is my go-to! I really appreciate the breakdown of information you gave, especially in regards to the minerals. This video was truly excellent!
  • Perfect timing on the release of another great video. I too quit using iodized salt decades ago and have all three of your test salts in my kitchen. Thanks for all the great info. Your videos are great reference material and I bookmark each one.
  • @raecapital
Thank you so much for taking the time to research the details & share them with us. You are appreciated šŸ’™šŸ™šŸ¾
  • @StacyL.
I actually use a salt mixture of Redmonds and Celtic Sea Salt in my salt shaker. šŸ˜Š
  • @Dubness0277
Thank you sooo much on this information! Iā€™m sure many will find it useful when choosing salts.
  • You rock! I have all three salts in my cupboard, Redmond's has only been there for a few months. I have the least "experience" with it, but, I've often wondered some of the things you covered today. Thanks!
