What a lovely couple and their story of the grid life ♥️
-
Thanks for the video. They are an inspiration. If they can go off grid at their ages. Then that gives us older one's hope that we can do it also.
-
great to see this, yep, us "older" people still have dreams, know what we want, and know how to go after it, pushing 70 here and still kicking it
-
My husband and I are 56 and 58 with the youngest of our 7 kids still at home is 15. We are in the process of looking, praying for our land. These folks just give us hope. We feel so old some day. We had a farm for years but lost it in 2011. Had Saanen and Nubian and Alpine Goats. LOVED IT! I can not wait to do it all again this time OFF GRID! FWIW we are currently living in an RV on friends land while we search. Saves tons of money.

58 myself. Will be going off grid in about a year. People our age still have a lot of more left in us. 😀 Congratulations. Be well. Be safe.

Wow! Really INSPIRATIONAL, such a lovely lady, central eastern Utah, not quite eastern, no red rocks or soil, so this is what the eastern flanks of the Wasatch mountains looks like! Thumbs up my dear Julianne, thank you for sharing and hopin' ya all have a great rest of the weekend! :)

These folks have some gorgeous animals.....a fiber lover's dream! Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful place. So happy for them.

Much respect to this couple. Never think one is too old to live the dream as long as you have good health and the means to make it work. I only wish they did not have the debt, but I wish them well regardless. Thanks for bringing this forth. Be safe.

There are a lot of people that would love to live there. The fact that there willing to do this in there sixties is to be commended ! This is the kind of life that keeps you healthy, remember just like everybody's gardens look different, so do there retirements. 😎

I love those animals so much they are so pretty and sweet.

Thanks for this tour. Takes me back to when I started out on my $60g acreage living in our travel trailer. It can be done. Thanks again. Jerry of Pine Meadows Hobby Farm

From the landscape I think I know approx where this is, and if so, I found 3 dinosaur gizzard stones in a box canyon near there. Stunningly beautiful.

Dogs breed name Sarplaninac was named by mountain in Yugoslavia. Sarplanina like Sarmoutain :) Macedonia is just another former vountry of Yugoslavia. These dogs are very good breed. I am sorry for bad english. Greetings from ex Yu coutry Serbia.
