You guys are the only channel going into this much depth and comprehensive detail inside the engineering background of such vehicles. It's a tough segment, because as much as I and others appreciate it, it's not what always grabs the populace. Nobody compares. Thanks for doing what you do.

Savage, both Mark and Jack... Insane. 2 Porsche products in quick succession and what a quality in videos. This could be a documentary on Discovery channel! Just wow.

8:47 Amazing that this switch to double wishbone front suspension was proved possible by a student working on his master’s thesis and without it, we’d probably still be waiting. What an inspiration for young engineers. Don’t think you can’t have an impact in a big company just because you’re young and don’t have the experience yet. Good ideas stand on their own merits.

I was so excited for this video, and then I saw AP and immediately had to change my pants. Another masterpiece, Mark and Jack.
  • Mannn. As always, you guys earn every sub. Can’t sleep on Geese this Savage. This mops the floor with every buff book and big money production house.

The production on these videos absolutely destroys anything TV has to offer. and your insights and delivery are simply flawless. Adore this channel. Also... imagine being that student who's thesis was used to build the front suspension of the GT3. Now that is something to put on the CV oml.

Having lived in Germany, it didn't surprise me to learn that an engineer had done a master's thesis on the porsche suspension arrangements. They are very inventive people

"its a car you feel, its a car that gives emotions, your favorite pair of jeans" *cuts to Jack crying love you guys <3

The fact that you were able to involve both Preuninger and Walliser into this film contributes to making this your finest work to date. Congratulations!
  • @revmatchtv
This is amazing work guys! Absolutely one of your best videos. Extremely ambitious. You’ve really developed a huge amount of skill over the years. This video just flows.
  • @JaZoN_XD
The best documentary ever. From the LFA to the Miata series, you continue to outdo yourselves, SGMark and SGJack.

I've been lucky enough to drive a few GT3's. I took a buddy's 997 GT3 RS out on track for some fun, I've had race day fun with the 991.1 GT3 RS at Las Vegas speedway, and I've gotten to drive the 991.2 GT3 touring version on the street in the hills. They're absolutely glorious cars. If you're a true driving enthusiast, it is hard to hate on Porsche.
  • @2009wookie
Without a doubt the finest car enthusiast channel in existence, bravo Mark and Jack!
  • @domteewhy52
It’s pretty much what I expected both in quality and quantity. I love that it’s almost exactly 500hp. It’s really a statement to what modern ingenuity can do while still keeping us in the connected environment of the automobile. Great video and thanks for the hard work!
  • @Meatwad650
I LOVE how you guys go from “serious automotive journalists” to kiddy kids in a heartbeat. Usually it’s Jack driving and he’s like “right foot goes vroom lol”.
  • @themBeets
These Patagonia commercials are getting out of control ;) But seriously, you guys are without a doubt the best auto review/info content on any media platform. Thank you.
  • @BrightEyes8513
This production quality is up there with the engineering quality of the GT3. Love all the details y’all have shared
  • @AutoPilotgogogo
So well done. Jack looks like he's about to toss his cookies at 33:40. I feel you, brother. Driving on track is one thing--riding shotgun is something entirely different.
  • @johnkodera9926
I'm so glad you guys are covering this. This is the level of knowledge and nerdism that is sorely lacking in automotive journalism the States. Thank you.
