Burt pulling out the machine joke in a target to tell to a 13 year old is unironically the funniest thing he’s ever done
  • @WhyForWhatNow
"We cant figure you out" When narcissists meet a normal person 😂
  • @Frenchy_47
The fact Bert went straight to the Russian Mafia line after a decade is just telling of his comedy.
  • @BIastwave.
There is a zero percent chance someone said “The Machine is in the building” when Bert walked into target
  • Seeing Schulz and his goons not being able to comprehend that Gillis is just a normal dude that’s a great comic is honestly so cathartic, and is embarrassing to them, that they can’t “figure him out”. They’re just out of touch because they’ve lived in luxury for a while.
  • Bert is just a drunk that’s been riding the wave of 1 joke for about 10 years even made a movie. Shane is a breath of fresh air
  • @TransfictionTV
Bert is like the dude who tells you fake stories and you know hes lying but don't want to make it awkward so you're like "oh yeah hahaha"
  • @michaelegan3522
Bert failing to tell a joke to the kid in Target after identifying himself as a comedian is ironically the funniest thing he's ever done.
  • @kaywhy687
Barts interaction with that kid is painful
  • That flagrant clip of them being confused about Shane being a normal person says more about the flagrant crew than Shane.
  • @CollectorsFix
Bert, one of the self-proclaimed best comedians currently on the scene couldn't think of one joke to tell a kid? Not surprised to be honest.

Shane Gillis is a D1 athlete, a decorated war veteran, and a former Saturday night live cast member.

I think one of Shane's hidden advantages is that he is actually very educated and smart, but pretends to be a dumb guy. Same thing that Norm Macdonald did
  • @aaronsmith4806
Target announced the soda machine was down and Bert was like, “okay guys, one at a time, I’m just a comic “
  • @Kevin-Schmevin
Bert maximizes the mix of narcissism and incompetence better than anyone...
  • @FreeOfAllFear
Bert’s just threatened by a dude who can drink but is smart enough not to make it his whole personality
  • @worldview3182
Bert pretending people in the store were screaming when they heard “the machine is in the building “ is Soooo cringe 😂😂😂

Beautiful Dogs convinced me that Shane cares deeply about the things he jokes about. He’s kind, compassionate, and empathetic. His ability to put himself in the shoes of the people around him is precisely why so many folks take his jokes so well. Because he’s laughing with you, not at you. And in doing so, inviting the audience to not only laugh along side you, but understand you as well.
