Henning voice is amazing! Found this group a few days ago, showed my girls and they can't believe his voice either, they can't believe that "that voice" was coming from him. it's just amazing. My 12 year old reaction was OMG he should be illegal lol

Not sure how I’m just finding this kid now. Henning’s voice is pretty much the perfect mix of Richie Havens meets Tom Waits with just a soupçon of Tennessee Ernie Ford thrown in for good measure. It’s a timbre you expect to find coming out of a larynx which has spent 40 or 50 years percolating cigarette smoke through a slurry of bourbon and broken glass, not in a young healthy throat with the range and expressiveness he’s got. Perfect choice of tune, and some great talent in the rest of AnnenMayKantereit as well, from what I’ve seen so far.
