"I never understood the intimidation factor of Darth Vader" He's like a 2.30 cyborg, in a constant state of rage and agonising physical pain and force chokes his own men for minor missteps He's scary af

republic commando getting c is criminal, definitely a game that needs a sequel too
  • @Levi-ix5es
His girlfriend writing a well articulated review of the Sims mod and bizly coming back immediately with his next review "I like it I like it a lot I love it" is exactly how I imagine it is with them at all times

the moment he put empire at war a D tier crushed my soul... still by far the greatest star wars rts game of all time... fight me

The reason Mace Windu’s lightsaber was blue in the first game is because it canonically was blue at the time of Episode 1. We never see it in the movie, but this has been established in lore, and he got the purple one sometime before Episode 2

Lego Star Wars the clone wars brought in so many new fun features like building a base and taking over the map, and the whole lobby thing where you can travel to the good and evil side ships was amazing

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures was definitely not just a demo. It was a weekly updated game that went along with episodes releasing with the show. There were player houses, mini games, lightsaber customization, emotes, pets, and later on even exploitable planets with secret boss fights. I was so sad to see it go. It may not have been the most impressive or fun game, but imagination and role playing with other players got me into gaming

Jedi Knight Outcast 2 I think deserves some more love. I certainly have a lot of nostalgia for the game, but some key things from the game that wasn’t touched on was the mods! You could go into God Mode or add in custom characters (at least for PC). Also the multiplayer mode was so fun! Having team battles with Jedis battling one another was unseen at the time.

Shout out to Glory’s VERY detailed sims critique. Actually informative.

You were right to pass on Kinect star wars. That one completely deserves its own video. Can't wait to watch your fifty minute magnum opus on the stroke of genius that was the just dance rip off featuring all-time banger "I'm Han Solo"

I started the old republic at the start of this month and already have over 200 hours in it, I was shocked on how addicting it really is

Bros never understood the scary factor to vader not only was bro seen as an unstoppable killing machine who could be set off at any moment he emitted this intense aura with the force that any force sensitive would feel and instantly be full of fear and cold without even having seen the man hes terrifying

The EA Battlefront 2 at its final non micro transaction state is definitely an s tier. I poured hundreds of hours into just the heroes vs villains and hero showdown alone. It was just so satisfying to me to try to master all the saber characters and doing stuff like learning peoples fighting patterns. I think it was the first online game I’d say I’m actually good at since like the old school Call of Duties

I know jack-all about star wars but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't 100% invested in this video, thanks for filling my eyes and brain with information

To this day I maintain that Jedi Power Battles was incredible back in the day. It was also pre-AOTC, hence the blue lightsaber
  • @throwaway2663
thought it was cool how you brought in other people to speak about their experiences. really well paced video. subscribed!
  • I think the main reason why people love the light saber combat in jedi academy is because there was a specific cheat which let you enable "realistic lightsaber combat" which was genuinely quite fun and interesting because any hit could just chop a limb clean off, ending a fight instantly. It just gave combat a very different dynamic knowing both you and the enemy could be one-shot at any time.
  • @Nihlux
Multiplayer is where it was at for Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. I played then for well over a decade. I've never seen anything else like the multiplayer in those games to this day. It was a very unique and special experience. The saber combat feels even better in multiplayer as well.
