Basically, I've just watched a 23 minute video that thoroughly explains what I've always said, the originals were better in every way but graphics.

This game had so much replay value. No matter how many times you played it, it never felt like it got old or boring.

Who’s here after the announcement today? I’m so excited to finally play on next gen consoles! Edit: That’s all Aspyr’s fault for the game being broken at launch. Luckily I’m in College currently and I’m not buying the game until the end of the semester. Hopefully by then they’ll listen to the fans and fix the game properly. They have to fix it… right?!?

The ability to land on the enemies mother ship during space battles was the best thing ever.

As someone who didn’t have internet when I was 7 when this came out, the ability to create a whole playlist offline of different maps mixing in space battles and going from the republic era to the empire era was amazing!! I’d always end with the last match on the death star. So much fun.

Ngl the heroes mechanics were perfect, you had decent health on kill but a constant decrease in health when not killing so you couldn't camp or sit and wait for any health to come back. You had to become an aggressive player to survive as a hero in this game and it meant you either died or lived long enough to actually be useful for your team. So simple but the best system.

When Battlefront (2015) was announced I was so freaking hyped because I naively assumed it was going to be like a love letter to the game I spent my childhood playing. My disappointment was immeasurable.

My experience when I first played Battlefront 2. "Oh look, an ATAT." Walks over to ATAT "Can I get in it?" Gets into ATAT "OH MY GOD I CAN DRIVE THE METAL CAMEL!" Walks around killing everything without worrying about some bullshit timer. "I AM GOD!!! FEEL MY WRATH PUNY REBELS!!! ALL HAIL THE METAL CAMEL!" Ahhhh, good times good times.
