This is a short video that actually took a couple weeks to complete due to the time it takes for the various layers of paint to cure. It made such a tremendous difference in how the garage looks but we welcome your comments and suggestions.

Straight and to the point. My fav garage improve vid so far. Great vid.
-
Using Bonding Primer after etching the surface and before using the paint and clear epoxy will make it last longer and prevent premature flaking.
-
I can’t wait to do this on my garage!!! Thank you for this budget option!!
-
Very well done! simple but nice. Making me want to paint and epoxy my garage floor.
-
Great video. Thank you.

"next we used an acid...." says man wearing flip flops.
-
Thanks for the video. It sure looks simple enough. Gonna have to try it out and give my garage floor some shine.

Nice job guys!
-
Great idea and thanks 😊

We did something similar to that at our old house, and it did peel off a little bit, but the clear epoxy you put on should prevent that from happening. Nice job!
-
Wow just gave me another project that looked great
-
It looks great! I'd love to know how it holds up.
-
Nice job Richard! Looks great, I've been looking into applying the epoxy or garage floor mats but will try this instead. I just hope it turns out as well as yours did!
-
Keeping things clean! Good job!
-
Looks awesome!!! Going to try this method. By reading some of the comments maybe I should two coats of the behr paint then apply the clear epoxy coat and hopefully i won’t have chip marks instantly. Anyways thank you!

This is awesome looks so good

Your video is generally complete and thorough. But my question is: What will you do when you have to "Repaint" the garage surface? Is there an etching compound or sander that will be needed? My garage floor was painted by a prior owner. And it has spots where my vehicle timers rest that have peeled. No what?
-
I have an existing epoxy floor, but I would like to change the color. Do I have to remove the old color entirely?
