This is why Scotty keeps running from state to state, nissan is hunting him down. :face-blue-smiling:
  • @dsbennett
After scaring the crap out of Scotty, it turned around and shocked the entire car industry.

My 2017 Rogue has 120 k miles. I drive it for work all over NYC, NJ, PA, CT and MA in all types of weather. It has never let me down 👊🏽. Had some repairs done but never been stuck on the road. Oil change, transmission fluid change and other things Scotty recommended have helped. My old 2008 Nissan Altima has 210k miles, my sister has crashed 3 times and it’s still going 😂.

My 22 Rouge with the 1.5 VC Turbo just turned a year old with 26,000 miles. AWD with the third generation CVT. Great all around transportation vehicle. I get 41 MPG my wife gets 37. Very reliable.
  • @golferman46
I have 2023 Nissan Rogue and recently drove down to Myrtle Beach from Buffalo and averaged 39.6 mpg ! Pretty impressive I thought. No problems whatsoever with it after one year of ownership! A great SUV .

Americans also have a heavy foot both for hard stops and jackrabbit starts. Just look around and see how fast people are driving today.
  • @jorge242
I have a 2017 Rogue with 165k miles and it's runs like new. It's been a great car.
  • @1vw4me
This is a MasterClass in modern vehicles by the Professor. Everyone should watch Scotty. I get down on my knees every day and kiss the garage floor that my made-in-Japan Mazda CX-5 Signature rests upon. It's a fabulous vehicle. Thx Scotty!
  • @MrNiceGuy500
We have the Rogue and it’s great! Very spacious. Average 32 MPG in the city and 40MPG on the highway.
  • @PRECIADOR
SCOTTY FORGOT TO SAY THAT NISSAN GETS LESS MILEAGE BECAUSE THE ROGUE IS ALSO AN SUV (HEAVIER) VEHICLE.
  • @3alaaa
I have a 2023 one and its awesome, and i use to be a car guy...
  • @johneddys2351
The Rouge AWD weighs almost 1000 pounds more than the Matrix. The Matrix is lower to the ground and probably has less frontal area. It's actually amazing the Rogue gets 30mpg.
  • @ianjohnson4753
Really great video, I have the 1litre Juke, and it's virtually the same.
  • @joenissan
Scotty, you did a video on our 22 Rogue Platinum AWD a year ago. Ours is loaded and gets 37 mpg on the highway and with over 15k miles now, it’s been flawless. Maybe ours being built in Japan makes a difference after all.
  • @TheOwlGuy777
I have the 2liter Rogue Sport and change the cvt fluid every 30k miles and the oil every 5k. It’s been perfect. My brother’s Rogue has 275k without a problem, but it has the 2.5 liter engine.
  • What fascinates me is that my 1974 Plymouth Duster 225 /6 got upwards of 35 mpg fwy. Yeah, 105hp, but it was all I needed.
  • @jessem8690
Did he really just call people with dirty cars "piggies"? 😂 I love Scotty
  • @jordanseay216
Old Nissans yes were well made and quite reliable. But around the new millennium, they were bought by the French and that’s when their quality started slipping downhill. Stuff like their frontier, titan, older pathfinders, xteras, 350z/370z’s, and their manual transmission cars all are pretty decent with reliability. If it has a CVT, I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole and if it has one of those tiny 3 pot engines, I wouldn’t touch it with a 20 foot pole.
  • @mikegrappone9078
Scotty - you don’t necessarily have to buy 4 tires. I recently had a flat on my awd car and I had Tire Rack shave a new tire to 7/32 to match the existing 3. Thanks for the video!
