Little known fact that 90% of Audi’s are still on the road with the other 10% actually made it to their destination.
  • I'd rather buy 1000 pounds of butter to grease myself good so I can slide down the road to work just to avoid audi.

Owned an Audi Q7. I became a baby sitter for the vehicle. Spent a great amount of time driving to the dealer for service. Computer was a mess, hard acceleration turning left caused a stall. Battery was under the drivers seat in a well. My wallet fell to the floor and bounced into the well. Impossible to retrieve. Called dealership and was told they employed a contortionist mechanic capable of doing the deed. He did but shows how often some such bounce occurred. Worst so called luxury vehicle I ever owned.

That Audi with the battery in the trunk with no manual trunk release is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen

Who accepts a car as debt settlement without checking out it's true value?
Does his mother know he is out?
  • When Lee Iacocca left as the head of Chrysler, it went from Mopar to Nopar. He had a Master Degree in Engineering. As with other American companies, when they stopped hiring engineers to run the companies, to hiring those with Business Degrees, they all went to crap.

In the UK, the focus is a good car. As long as you avoid the 1 litre petrol. Most cars here are manuals. Service them, and they last.

I had two Audi’s … learned on my second one. Got me Toyota and never been happier

I paid $26k for my tdi. Sold it back to them with 75k miles on for $25k after diesel gate
  • Wife purchased a 2015 Ford Focus before meeting me... had Ford buy it back as a lemon and bought a 2020 Toyota Avalon with the money 😂 Had to have the transmission repaired at 36,000 miles on the Ford... one repair of many. The dealership mechanic tried telling me the shaking was normal with the dual clutch transmission... what a joke.

I worked at An Audi/VW dealership as a mechanic for years and ironically we had more problems with Audis than the lower priced VWs. Thats one reason why you hear more fans of VW than you do Audi.
  • @oliverallen5324
I had an Audi A6 3.0T, and the reason I sold it was because the dealer's service team I'd used for 5 years fell away. I had 2 guys I got a long with, and always gave me a break on parts and maintenance. Got a few free oil changes. Always sung their praises. I drove across the country in that car without issue. It's a space ship. After a point though I got new people and it was clear the magic that was there was gone. They charged me 900 to fix a tail light, only to ask for another 2000 to fix the other part for the same issue. Fishing for service charges. Mechanically the Supercharged V6 was great. It went 0-60 in 5.2 and if I trailed on the highway I got 38 mpg one time, normally around 33mpg. It was a nice clean car the whole time I had it, and I would buy it again if I found a better service center. Germans have electrical issues, but that's not unique to audi, that's BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, KTM, all of them. People get audis and then don't service them, then they cry they don't work.

This makes me feel good about driving my 1988 S10 - 2.5L Iron Duke, 5-Speed Manual, no-Power anything.
  • @fungsia5549
run away from used luxury euro cars bmw audi merc unless you want to spend a fortune trying to fix one

What was wrong with having Keys for The Door, Ignition and Trunk?
  • @garybennett7835
I am an Aussie who owns a 2015 ford focus sport made in Thailand of all places and would you believe it has never given me an ounce of trouble. Not a rattle or squeak has been a great car just the usual battery and tyre replacement.
