  • It is sick that so many female students talk about rape and abuse but they are quiet when Hamas rapes and abuses.

Nothing says a logical agument like responding "No comment" when asked questions. Shows how much they know about their "cause".
  • UCLA is cowardly. And why are they filming from their backs and not allowing their identities to be seen? These are not minor children, they’re “adults”, though I am using that term loosely in their case.

"No comment" means I don't know what this is about.
  • @arod605
The fact that they can just punk students in a very expensive university is crazy.
  • Just lock the doors and tell them that they will be back when they're gone. Go on vacation early.
  • If pro-Palestine protestors are so passionate about their cause, why don’t they go to Palestine?
  • If classes can be held online, then how in the hell is a year of education worth almost $50,000? They may as well be pre-recorded.
  • Why protest, byt not speak out to the media? Youre protesting to voice your opinion yet when the camera is on you, you decide not to say anything...
  • Why are the mugshots of those arrested not being put out to the public?
  • @rluellam
Interesting that women are leading this. Do they think they would be in such positions in any Muslim country? And why is the media spending so much time covering such a small minority of students? Maybe .01 percent of UCLA's enrollment.

"No comment"........These spoil brats don't know what their protesting.
  • @bngr_bngr
I hope students get a discount for taking online classes.
  • Call for the removal of tax exemption for Scientology
  • I'm assuming all these students have divested from companies who do business with Israel, namely UCLA.

Most college campuses have adequate space for people to peacefully assemble outdoors. Attempting to occupy buildings is not a good idea as it gives security and police personnel an excuse to accuse protesters of trespassing and vandalism. I advocate for students to continue to peacefully protest, and these universities should accommodate that option by outlining designated locations to do so, and have security only on standby to prevent violence. It was particularly egregious at UCLA last week where one night the police stood by and let counter-protesters commit violent assaults in plain view, then the next day the police themselves assaulted protesters while dismantling the encampment. Do better.
  • If they want to "protest", they should go to Sacramento, or to the LA city hall. They shouldn't be a nuisance to students who are trying to get a degree. And if they want divestment from Israel, they need to go protest at the White House. They accomplish nothing on a college campus except for being a nuisance.
