In Puducherry state of India there is place called Arikkamedu where Romanians came 2000 years before. It is also said there is a Romanian Soldiers settlement . Now that place is called Veerampattinam (soldiers settlement). A festival is celebrated today in that place called Aadi Velli (Venus). That celebrations is similar to worship of Goddess Venus.
