I bought the cheapest Audi RS6 i could find which just so happens to be crash damaged. Its super risky buying a crash damaged car as you never know what you're going to find but i took the risk & i needed to get this car rebuilt and restored as fast as possible for one very good reason!

always amazing the amount that mat can get done in one video 🤯 👑

So nice to see a Youtuber actually complete a project in a single video. I hate watching a 30 minute video and then have to wait a week for part 2 lol

Have to credit to your videos Mat. Doing so much and fitting it into one video–just so impressive.

Glad that they mentioned retaining the air on gas, yes it’s a pain to get it recharged, but it should be recovered properly if it’s removed, some of the air con gas HCFC are 2000 times more damaging than CO2 so small amounts do make a difference….they are also expensive…keep up the videos Mat you are inspirational.

What I am loving at the moment is that Matt is really involving his dad with all his projects which is loverly to see some proper farther-son time together and mr Armstrong snr seems to really know his stuff and seems a integral part of the team so long may this relationship carry on in the future ❤️

It's taken me like 8 months so far fixing similar damage (no airbag or windscreen dmg though) alongside other stuff. 😅 Definitely heaps of work, depending a lot on how much you buy parts vs. fixing them and painting (oh boy).

OMG the rs6 wagon is my ultimate dream car, and for all the reasons you listed. Was so nice to hear someone who gets it. I also love buying damaged cars, fixing and reselling so it made this video like the perfect storm. Cant wait to go watch what happens to it next, keep up the great work. <3

Those are pre-facelift headlights, but they are full LED and require different plugs and coding to work, and you might need additional modules on the car to make it work, depending on what cameras they utilize for the automatic high beams. Kufatec in Germany can sell you the components and give you the coding to make it work.

The new headlights you fitted are still for a pre facelift, difference is you now gone from xenon to led. With requires new plugs, extra wiring and other modules

Matt loved your videos keep up the good work. That is awesome you get to experience that with your dad! I would have loved doing that with mine. The RS6 is such a beautiful car. Is the maintenance quite expensive on those cars?

My dad use to help me with my work as well. He was a legend. Sadly he’s no longer with me and I miss him every day, not only for his advice but his practical skills too. Mat you’re one lucky guy. Love your content

We hardly see these in the USA as no one likes wagons for some reason. So nice though and can’t wait to see it finished and possibly in SEMA…

Loving the Audi restomod stuff! From bitter experience with a 1995 UrA6 I know that even what the workshop manual & parts catalogue says is often wrong. Then there is the fact it’s so well screwed together, there are usually clips held in by screws and screws held in by screws (probably exaggerating) But the best is the pneumatic line system on the old ones like a lego technic JCB set x 1000 or as one mechanic mate put it “Repairing an old Audi is like trying to fix a Swiss watch with a spanner” 😂

this 24 hour episode was awesome! no wasted time, just good content!

I love seeing your dad having fun and working along side his successful boy. Enjoy the time you have with him because many of us would give anything to have moments like that back.

Dear Mat, a huge thank you for your channel! It is a pleasure to follow you and watching you give crash damaged cars a second life:) You also encouraged me doing more by myself on my car. This winter I've stripped apart the whole interiour of my Maserati and renewed it. The only thing I'd love to see is that sometimes you would take a bit more time for the rebuild😉 just a bit;) But I understand your challange like the one with the RS6. All the best to you! From Switzerland (the country with strict speed limits)😉
