Why Liam Payne DISLIKES Zayn Malik

The more I see this, the more I understand why Zayn left. And I'm on Zayn's side.

This is so low of him. Zayn is a private person, they are definitely gonna fued over this and I am on Zayn's side. He is probably trying to avoid the fact that he just cheated on his fiance. Why would you speak on someone else's personal life.

It’s crazy how when we were younger, we were so mad at Zayn for leaving and we were so selfish cause all we wanted was the 5 members instead of 4. But I feel like the more we get older, the more we’re starting to realize the toxicity, and why he left the group, and I honestly don’t blame him at all. I believe that comment that Liam made was one of the many reasons why Zayn left in the first place. He could never get his opinions in or his point across. So he made the best decision…to leave. Guys I know it’s kinda obvious, but I don’t see them ever getting back together as a group. It’s the little comments like Liam made that are driving them further apart and making the chances of them ever getting back together veryyyyyy low.

This makes me admire Zayn so much more. I would not want to be anywhere near people like this too.

When Liam talks about Zayn's different upbringing, is he referring to Zayn being raised as a Muslim, or the racism that Zayn had to endure?

There’s a subtle element of racism in his statement. He’s questioning Zayn’s upbringing which is obviously half Pakistani and half English.

I don't like the way Liam talked about Zayn's upbringing.. it sounded incredibly insensitive and borderline racist. I also don't understand the nickname he referred him as- "Wayne" malik? Is that another racial jab? As a Zayn girl from the start of 1D, I grew to become tired of all the racial bullshit that Zayn has had to go through for no reason. 5 members of a band and none of the other 4 boys went through an ounce of what Zayn did when it came to navigating cultural, religious or ethnic micro-aggressions in this predominately white society. It truly reflects what society we still live in.

Liam’s song was a ONE HIT WONDER type of thing. maybe at first it blew up pretty quickly but it was forgotten about in a month and is now hated because it’s a really bad song. and i’ve never heard his name again after that until this situation… where he’s getting a shit ton of hate. while the other members have had multiple pretty popular hits and albums and have started to build very long term, steady careers. hopefully this situation humbles him a bit but he seems like the type to think everyone else is the problem and not him.

Zayn is the good guy of the story . He’s like Snape . Everyone thinks he’s bad but he ends up being the only reason the movie didn’t end after 3 seconds

Zayn has more talent in his little finger than Mister Payne will ever have.

Liam needs to let this go....1D isn't coming back everyone basically moved on with their life except for him ....it's getting serious now.

I think people mostly dislike Liam right now because he's probably the only member who's giving us a real idea of what was going on in the band. We've spent years idolizing them but it's not unicorns and rainbows guys. I'm not saying Liam is perfect, but I don't think what he said in the video was meant to be mean.

Liam referring to him as ‘Wayne Malik’ reminds me of that Saturday night live segment where Harry referred to him as ringo. Louis also said some shit, Niall is the only one who’s only ever had good to say about him…

I won’t defend zayn because he’s got his own problems, but Liam shouldn’t be the one saying anything about anyone of them considering he’s like the least successful after leaving the band
