Looking back at these auditions is kinda eerie. Everything they said about Zayn was true: naturally good voice, something there (that x-factor, something that just cannot be explained in words), and that awkwardness on stage. Zayn was always the hardest one to grasp, and for me he was always a bit of a mystery. I only started liking his music about a year ago, I enjoyed "Nobody's Listening" so much & always felt a little disappointed that it didn't get the credit it definitely earned. I think that the industry did him dirty, and I sincerely hope that he is all OK.

People can't say whatever they want about Zayn but they can never I mean never take away how his voice makes someone feel. He is so talented . He slayed that audition. Proud of him.

In all seriousness Zayn’s voice is so soft and so strong, it reaches the soul so deep that it almost seems tangible.., it embodies exactly who Zayn is as a person and that’s so rare i love him so much and i'm so proud of the amazing, talented, warm-hearted, caring, loving, selfless, powerful man Zayn is today. he's come so far as a person and as an artist. thank you, Trisha, for raising him to be who he is today. i'm forever grateful. ♥️ 🥺
