On the day Tua Tagovailoa signed a contract that provided him and his family generational wealth the Miami Dolphins offense delivered a four turnover day. While Tagovailoa was sharp, it's clear that Miami's backup quarterbacks need to elevate their performance level.

Good for Tua getting his money. Doesn’t change the FACT that unless that OLine dominates, they ain’t winning the Super Bowl regardless if Mahomes was at QB. Can’t win with a subpar OLine, Mahomes proved that against the Bucs.

With Tua as the quarterback this is the first time the Dolphins have had a winning record for 4 consecutive seasons since the 7 winning season stretch from 1997-2003. As fan we are so badly starved for postseason success that we can’t even appreciate a quarterback for giving us the regular season success that we have had in years.

You guys need better cap facts. Tua’s deal is the 12th best 9th most guarantees. Prefect deal for a decent/good QB, bravo the Chris Grier for this deal. You guys spin too much stick to the facts. This deal is similar to Daniel Jones deal.

IMO: Tua is a generational talent that still needs to get over the hump. If he can get us over the hump and win playoff games and even the AFC Championship I think he’ll be that guy. Super Bowl would be nice, but we really just need a playoff run this season.

That’s the issue. There is no wait and see. Tua has shown he has the ability. Pay him now and if he fails it’s a rebuild. Not rocket science. When Tua throws for 4 tds and 350 opening day all the haters will disappear.
