This folks is why when the captain or cabin crew tells you to put your seat belt on you do it without argument.
  • @thatpilatesguy
I always put on my seatbelt during the entire flight, regardless of what the seatbelt sign indicates.
  • @KarenNZ
This is devastating. ..pilots did well to land and prayers for recovery for everyone
  • @mrctunes
I fly with the belt on. Take it off for the bathroom, put it back on when done.

I wear a seatbelt in my car all the time. So why shouldn't I keep my seatbelt on all the time in an airplane, too?
  • @erika8214
This is why you should wear your seatbelt. R.I.P., Jeff Kitchen.
  • I've been in turbulence so violent I'm amazed the plane held together. I can't imagine what terror these people went through. I always have my lapbelt cinched.

The pilots are hero’s here,I can’t imagine how difficult it was to fly the plane

I can't help but cry for 73-year old Kitchen, he literally was scared to death and he was on going to australia for a holiday, I just can't help but cry. The pilots, airlines, singapore and thai authorities did really well though to handle the situation after the turbulence
  • @formediatsc
Cabin crew should now wear helmets during food service and food trolleys should have something attached with the ground like rail line so that any turbulence occur during flight damage would be minimum
  • I swear I’ve never this many plane incidents in my entire life. This has to be the most plane incidents we’ve had this year.
  • @nikkis7375
So so sad. My mom was in a really bad one last year with turbulence and a storm. She said everyone was crying and praying. She doesn’t scare easily but was definitely scared for the first time when flying.

The Alaska plane that lost its door plug has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the story (about deadly turbulence). The story has nothing to do with Boeing either.
  • @shirleyz7400
Can you imagine the flight that the door that flew off & the people who were next to it thought having to sit there until they could get to a airport & land?????😳😱

Prayers and condolences to family and friends of the deceased individual, so sorry for your loss. Prayers for those injured in this incident for healing and a full and complete recovery. 🙏

Sad the "expert" doesnt mention how rare a 100ft drop in turbulence is, the worst is generally 30ft.

Hope everyone will be ok what a traumatic experience Singapore airlines are one of the best airlines in the world it’s turbulence that made it very difficult to encounter thanks to the pilots to land safely
