I wish they added a feature where you could block them, I don’t want them seeing me or going near me.

This sucks. They need to make it so that you can ban the users from watching your videos, commenting, and rating them. 100% ban.

This is just stopping people commenting. I wish it WAS stopping people watching or interacting in anyway (thumbs up/down and commenting included). That would REALLY be banning people from your youtube channel. I read your title and was super excited and then i was quite disappointed :(

This feature just blocks them from commenting on the videos in your channel. I don’t think it blocks trolls from making brainless comments in other videos you comment on. I wish YouTube would add that kind of feature. I don’t want to be arguing with obvious airheads. I want to be able to comment without some airhead feeling they’ve been slighted and have to make off-color comments.

There are also spambots and spammers who comment on every single YouTube channel and they say stuff like: "Nice video. Keep it up! Would you like to be YouTube friends?" Things like that. It's so annoying. YouTube doesn't do something, actually some creators are falling for these type of scams.

OMG, it actually works!!! For almost 5 weeks I've had a stalker on some of the channels I follow and I actually felt like giving up youtube and trying to come up with another user name and follow my followers back and let them know that it;s me. Then I thought, why the hell should I? I have done nothing wrong here and my channel has been here for a long time so I found you and another channel, tried them both out and they both work like a charm. Ihaven't heard a peep from the cretin. Huge thank you from me to you.

This is so important for every channel creator. Before hiding them, I always take a screen shot of their comment and save it. Some of you channel creators should consider taking a screen shot first, too, as some of you (us) are easy to find. There are many trolls out there who, well, might try to find you. I once heard someone who was in cybersecurity when the internet first was "a thing" say, "The internet isn't the television. It's the telephone."

Youtube should make some changes in blocking and rating videos with likes or dislikes. I propose that Youtube should unable blocked users to like or dislike your video besides being unable to comment. Also, I propose that Youtube even goes as far as making those users unable to watch your videos. There are too many pathetic people on this platform that use dislike bots to vandalize your channel and many other issues. I don't like the fact that after blocking a user, this one is still able to like/dislike and watch your videos. Maybe making them unable to watch your videos after blocking them is an exaggeration, but I believe that making them unable to like or dislike is fair enough.
