Pattaya Beaches used to be beautiful with white sand fifty years ago in my time I'm sure not any more Pattaya is closer to the city and within fifty years people do travel to the beaches I'm not surprised the sand doesn't look white anymore.

The only thing difference is the food court now a days back in the Days they're not One food card there's at all if you wanted a food you have to found a small restaurant by the side of the road it's could be between twenty miles to thirty miles by the road side.
