Many thanks to Jassy for contributing this wonderful presentation! Exactly 46 years later, using modern-day clips of the current Rockaways fleet and the preserved Arnine fleet, the film attempts to recreate the feel of the Arnines' final days of Rockaway service back in 1976.

    Many thanks to you! QUICK DISCLAIMER to railfanners: most honkings in scenes where the train goes to stations are removed to provide minimum fan trip vibes. This is also used for a school project; feedback is welcomed. The beginning images were also taken by me.

    This brought back memories. I lived in the Rockaways for 33 years. I became a conductor in 1983. The first run I had was working for 3 nights on the overnight working on the Round Robin in the Rockaways'. The only reason I got this job was because this was in the winter. I couldn't touch it in the summer. Oh well. I was surprised to see that one destination sign box had IRT destinations. Another one didn't have any. If Don Harold was still around. He wouldn't let it go out. Oh well. Many thanks for this..
