2024 Sand City Crit - Elite 3/4 - An F1 course for bikes.

It was my first time racing Sand City so I went in with an open mind little in the way of expectations. Many of the hitters in E3 came out to play and the racing did not disappoint.

Our plan as a team was simple, ride hard, stay near the front and try to start grouping up with 5 laps to go. Ride along with me as we break down key race moments, talk a bit about course strategy, and even snag a sweet prime!

What's covered:
00:13 - Intro, course, overview, teams, etc.
2:33 - I end up in a 3 man break early in the race
3:46 - Classroom time (cornering and climbing hills)
5:27 - Hot tip - Line choice is highly dependent on pack dynamics
7:01 - Prime Lap! I make a run at winning some Tifosi sunglasses
9:22 - I fall back to "Rest" and we talk about P2/3 race pacing
13:34 - Bell Lap, things get sketch
15:43 - Conclusion / wrap up
