65 yo, able to do all with ease. So very happy! I do about 50-100 squats a day, 5-10 mins of Asian squats, heel lift for my ankles and just stretches as much as I can for hip mobility. Fighting my way through aging. I don’t want to be like the ppl that I saw on a cruise. Not that old but walking around with canes and scooters. So I am going to do all these exercises until I can’t. They motivate me to keep up with my exercises.

Turn 80 this year & am managing these exercises fairly well, hopefully they'll become easier.

Superb presentation.... British! No annoying music either!!
  • 70 years old here. Began working out seriously 4 years ago and now workout 6 times a week and love it. 2 days group training, 2 days boot camp and 2 days one-on-one with a trainer. I still have aches and pains, but refuse to become inactive. I went from not being able to squat past 90deg knee flexion, to doing a full asian squat (though I can't stay down there - yet). My one-on-one sessions work on strength but mostly on stability and balance. One of the unexpected benefits is the mental discipline - getting comfortable with being uncomfortable and not giving in to the voice that says "I hate this" - and just experiencing the burn. It spills over into the rest of my life. Having a trainer - whether in group or solo - was a game changer for me. I am saddened when I see "old people" at the supermarket and realize they are my age.

Bringing the foot in isn’t to bad but I can barely go outward! I’m only 50, looks like I have some work to do! Thanks for the great advice!!
  • Thank you so much, Will. I’m 73. My upper left leg had been causing me a lot of pain over the last four months. Some days I could hardly walk on it. Spoke with a doctor and he suggested Advil as needed. The Advil helped tremendously but only lasted a few days and the pain returned. So, it looked like I’d be living on Advil. A friend said it sounded like I would need a hip replacement. Watched your video and began doing the hip rotations. Almost instant success. I’ve been doing them for just a few days now and I can’t believe the pain has almost completely disappeared. No Advil. The leg feels much stronger and I don’t even have to use the bannister going up and down stairs. It’s a miracle. I feel like I’ve got my leg back and my life. I cannot thank you enough. I was wondering when your book will be available as an ebook. I like the portability and control over font size that ebooks allow. Again, my sincerest thanks! Dennis

I just found your videos tonight…so THANKFUL I did! I just turned 60 two weeks ago 😵‍💫 it hit me hard….never ever had issue with age but this..🙃 Anyways I had thyroid cancer 10 years ago, complete hip replacement 3 years ago. No other health issues. I need to loose 25lbs and I don’t believe in coincidence-I found your videos because it what I need!! Thanks for your help! ❤ love your accent ☺️
  • Just ordered the book after a few months watching videos. You have helped my knee cap issues from an old skiing rotational sports injury. I wish I listened earlier. He may be young but please listen to him. I’m mostly a high impact fitness fanatic and this man has levelled my fitness. 😊 I can’t wait to read.

I am not sure of the clients that he sees. Based on the exercises and suggestions it seems like people that have been doing nothing for years. I squat, overhead press and deadlift every week and these are all done heavy. Of course I do other things, but there is always the big 3-4 exercises. I am 59 and still move weights that I was doing 15-20 years ago and have been lifting since my teens. Don’t stop…don’t lose it.

I'm new to your videos and I have to say that I'm going to give them all a whirl due to stiffness and pain from sitting too much with my job. And I've learned that sitting begets more sitting (makes a person incapable of standing for very long or walking for very long). Thank you for showing how to correct all that's going wrong.
  • Will I'm gaining stability and strength incorporating some of your exercises - particularly standing to sitting while keeping knees sytaight. I have a long way to go as I'm very weak but this is the best progress I've had in several years. Thank you.
