I think the movie forgot shes a hologram, not a robot. She can’t just go into computer systems. She can’t just walk around anywhere she wants, she can’t have emotion, she’s literally just light.

you know Loretta is a hologram not because she's "perfect" or her hand disappears when sticking it out the window or even the robotic voice. It's the constant wear of the holographic/frosted eye shadow which is an early 2000's indicator of "cool computer space nasa" aesthetic. You see, Sam is a normal down to earth girl because she's styled like Avril Lavigne who is also a normal down to earth girl. There were only two types of girls in the early 2000's, Frosted Eyeshadow Girl and Avril Lavigne.
