Village of Endicott Board Meeting 6/1/2020 ("Holy cow that was painful")

Published 2020-06-02
This is one of the MOST BIZARRE village meetings I have ever seen.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED ON MAY 7th, a majority of the Village of Endicott trustees and Mayor (the three ladies: Mayor Jackson, Trustee Chapman, and Trustee Konecny) voted to REMOVE THE PROHIBITION of Incinerators in Endicott's Industrial Zone, except that they must be called a "Recycling Facility", and it must only burn one kind of thing.

MAYOR LINDA JACKSON called removing the prohibition against incinerators, "Adding Restrictions", which the news media repeated COUNTLESS times.

Listen until the very end to hear: "Holy cow that was painful". We believe a village trustee said that.
