Several glass bottles filled with perfectly preserved cherries and berries have been unearthed at George Washington’s Mount Vernon, officials said.

Archaeologists unearthed 35 glass bottles of fruit from the 18th century in five storage pits in the cellar of George Washington’s mansion.
