Mark Greene is a former Navy SEAL with 20 years of distinguished service, and he is one of my oldest friends. Out of the 180 trainees that started day one of BUD/s class 212, Mark is one of the original 18 who successfully graduated.

From enlisted SEAL to a transition into the officer ranks, Mark's story encompasses multiple combat deployments and service on both East and West Coast SEAL Teams, including time as a sniper instructor and Special Warfare Combat Crewman OIC (Officer in Charge).

Post-military, Mark transitioned to a fundraising role at USC, and now his latest achievement is as an author. Mark's book "Unsealed," is a testament to resilience, transformation, and the unyielding spirit of a warrior turned writer.

Right when I was starting to think, only Goggins, Bigsby, Quarles, and Adeleke were the only cool Black SEALS, Andy brought us this awesome brother, Mark Greene! For my neighborhood/community, we need to see these guys 💯. Thank you Andy 👍🏾 Respect All Fear None
  • Mark is obviously a real, genuine friend. Good dude, great episode!

Please bring Mark back. That was a great conversation to listen too what a crazy place we’re in as a society now we just sit and listen too a couple buddies chatting it up, but yet there’s so much to pull from it, it can go from therapeutic to comedy all in one conversation. Thanks Andy your killing it man and I’m happy for your success you earned it.
  • The lustre of gold isn’t half so rich as the sound of old friends sharing laughter. God set a flower upon your heads.

Mark Green is such a soft spoken man. Hard to believe he was one of the deadliest commandos in the world.

I’m only 40 minutes in and I’ve laughed a shit ton . Andy is hilarious and this dude seems like a good, genuine person and friend. I wouldn’t mind if Andy and Mark did a monthly episode.
  • @mattzobian
Mark Green is amazing. The guy is clearly a gentle soul, amazing that he was also a SEAL.

Andy and Mark...brothers from different mothers. It may have been 10 years between seeing each other, but you wouldn't know. Andy & Mark, you two are AMAZING individuals! BZ
  • I know you’re very modest but I want you to know how influential you are to me. You’re a true role model to young men/women in our country. We need more “Andy Stumpf” in these times.
  • Andy, you forgot to mention in the intro that among the 18 originals that you and Mark graduated with in your BUD/S class, Jack Carr was not one of them.
  • Couldn't stop smiling watching this interview... So many life lessons.
  • @mawillar

I can see why he's one of your oldest friends... And I'd bet he was the type of dude you tried not to take along with you when going out to meet girls -- this dude would throw off the whole balance of the crew.. taller, better looking, nicer, more athletic, better educated... I've had my run-ins with guys like this in life, they make middle-of-the-pack dudes like me look terrible. lol. awesome ep, keep 'em coming...
  • This was a great show. I would love if Mark came on again in the future. Awesome
