What did we learn in this episode? Absolutely nothing except that the characters seem to think it's a good idea to get absorbed by the giant keg. The rest is just pure shit filler with a bit more insubordination from our resident marathon runner. I lost it when Shilley laid into Raynor pacing around the bridge because it was making the rest of the crew nervous. LOL! WTF?!! What type of person writes this?!

This weeks theme on Discovery: INCOMPETENCE Starting with them arriving before the breen, but pissing around trying to decide how they are gonna get the Progenitors Drum, just to watch the Breen just swipe in and get it. :D Why does the Federation HQ not send the other ship with the thingy drive to the other Breen war lord? well, they could interpret that as hostile :D okay? But why havent they been send to Discovery IMMEDIATELY? Or even better - straight to the Progenitors Drum place?? Why is Discovery decloaking, and firing at the shields, Adira and other guy can lower at ANY point from the bridge? Discovery has to ram the shield, and fly into the "shuttle bay" only to be too slow to get the drum via traktor beam? That was the plan wasnt it? Why is Michael Burnham going after that irredeemable bitch LOL or however she is called? At this point she is less redeemable than those Breen soldiers going before her. And Michael didnt want to go after them, to save them.... So much incompetence just to get this fucking plot going on... Also: Could Tilly be any less subordinate to her commanding officer? also: Two black holes side by side that fit into the viewscreen, sorry...view window? I'm really getting sick of the crew looking at each other like something is wrong whenever Raynor actually captain's the ship. And that moment Tilly thinks Raynor actually has a good idea. I would have had Raynor turn to her and say, "You're a little slow, aren't you?"

What happened to Book wanting to redeem Moll? All of a sudden he doesn't seem to care about that anymore.

I didn't intentionally forget to comment last week. I simply couldn't force myself to type down a couple of words. This "show" is a demo reel, much like a malicious tech demo everyone just got a tiny glimpse of the visuals and therefor feels the urge to get more of at first. But, oh man, it's just as barren and void as V'Ger's mind is. Let it die for good.
