"I have... a head?! And... I'm young?!"
Twenty-year-old Princess Mia of the Tearmoon Empire, often scorned as the "selfish princess," was executed by guillotine in a rebellion. Next thing she knew, she awoke in her own twelve-year-old body, with her own blood-stained diary that she kept before she was beheaded sitting next to her pillow. Given a second chance at life, Mia decides to rebuild the empire. For the sake of Tearmoon's future? To save the people from starvation? For all the soldiers who lost their lives in the civil war? No! Everything she does in this life is for the sake of avoiding the guillotine! "F-For me, this should be a piece of cake!" Thus the useless, cowardly, self-serving princess brings about miracle after miracle in her great struggle to save herself in this altered-history fantasy.

So its like when you get the bad ending in a video game and start a new game and try to get the good ending next play through ?
-
I like how the princess isn't trying to prevent that future because her country was left in ruins by whatever her family did, but just because she's only thinking about herself. that's the most royal thing I've ever seen.
-
As a huge fan of the light novel series, looking very forward to this adaptation; hope they do it justice
-
IF Tearmoon Empire is handled CORRECTLY than it may very well end up as the little sister version of Overlord, and if that happens it'll be pure WIN
-
I must say, I am loving this trend of "villainess" isekai anime. Hamefura, Most Heretical Last Boss Hero has been pretty good so far and now this. It looks promising and I can't wait to see it in a couple months.
-
I will always enjoy a good villainess time rewind/isekai. They're the genre I adore the most. I especially love the ones where the villainess has experienced the bad end and just nopes the hell out. I'll be awaiting this one eagerly.
-
Damn thatâs one stylish guillotine, nice work whoever build it. It looks high quality
-
The source material for this is actually very good but maybe not the easiest to work with for a director. A lot will depend on the voice acting/directing and on whether they keep the narrator as it was in the books. Looking forward to the mushrooms
-
Finally, a female protagonist that ends her sentences with âdesuwaâ.
-
I expect "SASUGA MIA-SAMA" memes to be as rampant as "SASUGA AINZ-SAMA."
-
Iâm reading the light novels and Iâm on volume 4, I canât wait for the anime! Anyone who hasnât read the books đ please read the story! It is fantastic!
-
I am loving the fantasy historical "villainess" reincarnation anime lately. The only "isekai" subgenre I enjoy â€
-
I just love that it has the character designs of demon girl next door and it also seems to be comedy focused so I am all in!
-
Giving me "Let them eat cake" Vibes
-
Always looking out for #1!
-
Been looking forward to this. Iâm coming to the anime from the Light Novels. Letâs hope they adapt the anime properly. This is one of the better stories Iâve read recently that I was introduced to by the Light Novel subreddit.
-
They love that kind of concept, don't they? đ
-
Giving me Avoiding Death Flags vibes, and Iâm all about that.
-
if they dont mess up the narrator this one will be an instant contender for best anime of the year
