Genesia, you're absolutely killing it with these languages! ๐ I'm also an Indonesian learning German, Japanese, and Mandarin, but I'm nowhere close to your level! Keep shining, our polyglot queen! ๐ธ

Well.. Genesia is famous actually.. Glad she is here..

Indonesian are born bilingual at least, then learn English in school and other Foreign language as German, Japanese or French in high school. I learned German in high school. I speak Indonesian, Javanese, English, Romanian, currently learning Italian. I am working in German company. Yeah, most Indonesian are multilingual

I knew Genesia was in Korea but I didn't expect her to appear here. It's a nice surprise. It was hilarious to see her pretending unable to speak German.
-
Being bilingual is a norm for Indonesians, and the more access to the internet nowadays makes us more fluent in english as well, becomes trillingual as the result.
-
Trivia:Some Filipinos are starting to speaking Bahasa Indonesia including me ๐๐ But there are some Filipinos are learning or speaking fluent Bahasa Indonesia in different ways:Communicate with Indonesian Friends ๐๐ Among of them was: 1.Former Miss Universe Philippines Lucena City Anjeanette Japor(because of her Indonesian Mother) 2.Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray(because of her roommate friend Puteri Indonesia 2018 Sonia Citra) For me personally only three languages spoken, English, Filipino and the new one, Bahasa Indonesia because next year sometime, I will visit Indonesia to meet my new friends and my new love including my favorite beauty queen, Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia Banten 2024 Theresia Morales, who is my favorite sweetheart, lol ๐๐ With all my heart, I hope to see you in Indonesia next year and I will be waiting for you ๐๐ Terima Kasih dari Kota Calamba, Provinsi Laguna, Filipina ๐ต๐ญ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ

I am Indonesian that speak Bahasa Indonesia (for sure), English, Brazilian Portuguese and Latin America Spanish. In addition I also speak my local language also as Javanese. I think it's because of our way of speaking with our tongue, it's a little bit easier for us Indonesian to learn different languages.

Aku tau kakak ini,dia cukup terkenal:') Banyak banget polyglot di Indonesia, konten ometv menunjukkan orang orang tersebut

"It's definitely not German, because German is such an angry language" Threw me off...๐คฃ๐คฃ To be honest as an Indonesian who lives in a non-tourist city, as a kid I grew up knowing the German language for the first time from the World War Movies, so yeah I thought German people do speak like Hitler before. ๐คฃ๐คฃ Shout out to Genesia!!! I personally love your videos about languages. Also thanks to World Friends for inviting her to this episode, I hope we can see more of her in this channel.

It amuses me that the German is surprised that Genesia Synclaire speaks German, since I knew that she has been living in Germany for a few years. But Genesia did pretend that she didn't understand her. We didn't see Genesia's initial reaction to hearing her introduce herself.

Kaget bgt tiba tiba ada kak genesia so proud of u gurlss๐โค

by default the majority of Indonesians are already born bilingual, we speak our regional language then are later exposed to the Indonesian language so i think we have the more advantage of learning more languages.
-
We (Indonesian) are born as a bilingual at least. We speak our national language, Indonesia, and also our tribe/ethnicity/race/area has their own language or traditional language because Indonesia has many numbers of those things. For me, it's Sundanese because Sunda is my race/ethnicity. We use Indonesia language to communicate with other people in different race/ethnicity/area (for example, I, Sundanese, use Indonesia to speak to Javanese, Malay people in the country). Then we learn English in elementary school and highschool. Almost all schools in Indonesia have English as their subject. Even sometimes, high school has two subjects of languages, English and the other (like, Chinese or Japanese) as English still a must.
-
indonesian are just naturally born polyglot. our parents speaks bahasa indonesia and their native languages (mine are javanese and banjarese), our school and online communities teach english, most of us are muslims so we speaks arabic in our mosque school, most of us learns german/chinese/japanese/spanish in high school (mine was chinese) even though iโm not fluent at that after high school, and naturally bahasa indonesia doesnโt have any strong accent to hold back from fluently speaks any foreign language. so yeah, if we do the counting i do speaks 6 languages, bahasa indonesia, javanese, banjarese, english, arabic, and chinese.
-
aaaa Genesia, you're aweeeesssooommmeeee. Apalagi you used "Bahasa Indonesia" and "Indonesian" instead of "Bahasa", you DO know languages.
-
Indonesian people actually born bi-lingual because we learned speak mother tongue : Javanese/ sundanese/etc at home, at school we learned : Bahasa Indonesia (generally) and then we learned English too. When we grow up we learned another language such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thailand, Germany, Spain, Italian or Arab. That's why Indonesian people can understand what our mother said with their dialect and what people said in their own language. So you can say that Indonesian people are multilingual.

If they didn't see Genesia in a YouTube shorts, they won't know that she's a polyglot.
