They went straight to the umpire without even going to the girl to ask if she was ok. Disgusting behavior

Tormo and Bouzkova obviously felt threatened and wanted to get rid of their competitors. Such bad sportsmanship… 😡
  • @rascalap2968
Disgusting behaviour by Bouzkova and Tormo, exploiting the situation and umpire instantly when they didn’t even see what happened. “She’s crying…” Yeah, an accidental hit hurts just as much as a deliberate one. I hope you lose every match you play this year.

I'm so glad Turmo lost today. Karma.

I am 44 years old, watching and playing tennis since 1985. I have never seen a more ridiculous disqualification on the circuit EVER. I have seen the full 15 mins this have been treated and the behaviour of the 2 oponents was pathetic and absolutely disgusting, interfering in the discussion between the supervisor and umpire, in order to punish them with default. While this was ongoing, Tormo and Bouskova sat down and started laughing almost diabolically about it... try to find the whole video and make yourself a picture of these "ladies".

They were snickering and giggling when there opponents were disqualified. Disgusting and disgraceful behavior.

"And she has blood", how can you clearly seen from a thousand feets apart, that's a ball mark of clay, okay. Shame on both Bouzkova and Tormo.
  • @MLNYD
I cannot wait to boo the hell out of Bouzková and Sorribes Tormo when they play the U.S. Open.
  • @matthewbuck5067
I’ve been a Bouzkova fan for a while, not anymore. What horrible behaviour. Pleading for a default and taking advantage of the poor girl’s shocked response. They really should apologize.
  • @msalvarez74
The mean girls got their opponents disqualified. They're disgusting. It was an obvious accident. Barely any harm. The umpire thought so, too. But the mean girls wanted to win in any way possible, including getting their opponents DQ'd. This is BS
  • @ysophia4559
It was a totally accident. Kato should not be penalized. Please appeal!

Bouzkova/Tormo were talking each other and not even watching what happened to ballgirl. I don’t think they have any ground to complain. If they intended to steal a match taking advantage of what happened it is simply poor sportsmanship.

Absurd. The team calling for a default are the ones needing to be called out here.
  • Disgusting behavior of the opponents. They didn’t even check on the girl and directly went to umpire demanding disqualification.
  • @mansonsmom
Sucks for the default. She appeared to be returning ball to ball kid with NO anger or malice. Sad for them.
  • @richardxi1395
The "And then she has blood" sounds so genuine. She must have practiced this thousands of times when she called a fair ball out.
  • @MoCello77
Absolutely disgusting behaviour by Bouzkova/Tormo and ridiculously rubbish decision to disqualify Miyu who’s obviously the victim.
  • @njc84
What kills me is that Bouz/Tormo DID NOT EVEN SEE the incident and fought so hard for a default. The worst case of sportsmanship possible. Absolutely filthy, and to think I was previously a Bouzkova fan until this.
  • @chengifoo7603
The ball girl was clearly in shock after being hit. But it does not appear to be a ball thrown in anger, in violence or out of bad behaviour as we have seen so many players done in the past. So I believe that the supervisor, the umpire or whoever made the decision to disqualify them was a bad call. Hopefully there would be an appeal to reverse the decision and they get paid for reaching that round.

Bouzkova and Tormo didn't even see what happened (they were in a huddle talking when it happened); so they shouldn't be insisting on anything if they didn't even see it occur. Also, Bouzkova said "AND SHE HAS BLOOD". There was no bloodshed here ! 1:23
