I rescued a Malinois I was in Smethwick Birmingham i saw (what i thought was an Alsatian) a group of lads was trying to get her in a van, I called her she jumped straight in the back of my car, they came up to me and said "is this your dog" I said yes, they were travelers. I knew she was special the instant I got back to my garage, she went into protect mode straight away. My college walked up to my car she barked at him. Then she jumped two 6 ft walls to fetch a toy I threw thinking shed run up the stairs!!! Me and my colleagues couldn't believe what she did. The next day there was a post on Facebook about her. I contacted her owner and he came and picked her up.. She was a badass dog man. I will get a Malinois!! She did everything I asked, very playful and just capable!!

You need to contact LOF Defence from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Tactical collars made in house. LOF make harnesses, collars and leashes for K9 and battle belts, plate carriers and plates for the military and police. Quality is 110%.

I use and love the MIAK9 collars and Cargo Vests. Thx for this review.
  • @zfilmmaker
Thanks for the excellent video! ...And the time taken to assemble all these great brands and throughly test them. Many of these brands are not known in the USA, but may give some other high quality options.

Thanks for info on FM buckle, couldn't find that on their website at all.

And like this sir… you’ve got yourself a new subscriber!!!
  • I really appreciated this video. It narrowed down my search to K9 STORM. Their gear is outstanding! You should do a video on K9 STORM. I have the collar modded with a HEL-STAR EXO 5 and cover from MODERN ICON. That leash you love is a splice dyneema leash. They are so easy to make at home. I have mine modded with a kong frog mini carabiner.
  • @ClassyAsFuck
Modern Icon user here. 1.5” summit collar with summit lead. Been in use 1.5 years and still hold up like a dream. There’s some fabric wearing but it’s still rock solid. We had the metal name ID and unfortunately the info is printed, not engraved. So it wore quick and they do not offer replacements or a warranty. I’m keeping the leash in the game but moving to a collar with embroidered info.

100% Jtac all day long i only use Jtac now for my working line shep who is 50kg and has alot of power when training i upgraded from the MIA K9 as i was not fully happy with it having the smaller D ring and the thinness of there leads made me not feel as confident in the product i know there was a slim to zero chance of them breaking but needless to say i wanted the upgrade and i will never look back and will be ordering more leads very soon i will say ive had both collars covered in mud and both been in water and they both still function perfect
  • @jakechapman254
My cattle dog has got the Jtac k9 collar fits him perfectly would highly recommend
  • @Csd_k9_gear
Would love to send one of our collars when you do another take on collars. Awesome video
  • Good review. Its a shame JTAC didnt send you one of their 'everyday' collars too. I have the pro in black, a dayglo pink one like the pro but with a lighter duty webbing and a black 'everyday' collar. Ive also had a MIA K9 collar which I gifted to a friend cos it was dark blue and I got fed up of people assuming my she was a he.
  • @madslashers2002
Looks like MIA K9 is the proper choice for my tactical Yorkshire Terrier. Well done, mate! Thanks for the great information.
  • @gwibo
Fully agree on your comment about the handle mate, a lady in my local woods lost a dog after it got swept away downsteam and then drowned after the collar got snagged underwater on a log and that was without a handle! On the plus side having the handle on my 3 legged dog's harness makes it easy to get him in and out of the truck
  • @nb7673
I have a tactipup 2in collar with a cobra buckle and a handle for my 80lb German shepherd and its held up great since the day I got it
  • Thanks what I have on my shepherd modern icon with a chinook medical k9 module i hoke to his vest he’s just started training and is already a gifted dog highly intelligent and ruthless still working on listening to all commands both German and English but he’s come far for the 5 months iv had him I got him at 1 ish so he’s like 1.4 years ish like I said

I wish you would have listed the names of the companies under your video because I have to keep coming back to your video to get each one after I look the last one up. Thanks for the info though it's greatly appreciated
