As a Vol fan I can tell you the real heartbreak is having to listen to Gary Danielson for 90% of this video...

The fact that there is 49 mins of this should say a lot bout our pain lol

I remember watching that 2009 Alabama game on deployment. Heartbreaking.

Maybe one day here soon we can look back on videos like this and say... Remember when Tennessee football used to be awful? Now we're on top of the world! Can't keep us down forever, stay strong and go Vols!!
  • This is simply beautiful to watch as a Florida fan. God bless yall Vols. True fans those who have weathered all this disappointment
  • The pain us Tennessee fans endured since 2009 was absolutely brutal, this could finally be our year!!!
  • This video is great and I'll tell you why. As a kid born in Orlando, in 1999, who's first college football game he watched was Tim Tebow beating Ohio State in the BCS national championship and really got into it at 6 years old right after NCAA 06 came out, it's a wonder how I didn't end up a Gator fan. I'll admit, I was on the fence for a while, mostly between UCF, Miami, Alabama and Florida... But ironically in 2009, when I watched a scrappy Tennessee team lose on a blocked field goal to #1 ranked Alabama IN Tuscaloosa, it sparked something extremely emotional in me and that was the first time I cried watching a sports game. From there on out, all my classmates started getting into football more so along with me, and I ended up sticking with the Vols. Unfortunately for me, I never got to see the dominance of the 80's, 90's and very early 2000's. My love for the Vols, the Tennessee Orange that runs through my veins, came from knowing nothing but the life of telling my friends every Friday before the Florida game that "the streak is over this year" and then coming back to school every Monday afterwards and getting absolutely roasted by everyone. It's been about resilliance (Butch Jones flashbacks 🤮) and being the underdog for me. Ironically, a completely different love and passion for the university than the experience of a Vol fan even just 15 years older than me. First time I think I've ever happy cried in my life was that 52-49 victory over Bama in 2022. With Heupel having come from UCF along with the majority of his staff, I can't say how perfect I think he has been for this program. GBO 🧡

At 24 years old I remember every single one of these wow
  • Watching this is hard but you know what I'm a VOL 4 LIFE BABY!!!
  • This was my childhood unfortunately, looking forward to a new generation of Vols football
  • As a tennessee fan, I'm surprise it's not quite an hour long let alone ten hours long!

Wow I thought I had repressed all of this. So many of these games were lost on the incompetence of our sorry coaches. In a position to win. Have the higher probably to win. And yet shoot our own foot and lose. I can hardly remember aside from last season a year in which we lived up to or our performed the talent on our roster. GO VOLS!

Loved this video as a UF fan but it is insane just how unlucky Tennessee got in some of these games.
  • Somehow I had never seen that whole Missouri sequence that’s crazy 😂

That hurt me to my heart to see Phil Fulmer have to resign. A great coach, a great mentor. Times just changed. It has become monumentally more difficult to coach nowadays. The kids are just so different today. Go Gators.
