Hey there,
this video is all about being a small content creator and the dream to grow your account to be able to make money doing something you love to do. This journey is not easy and knowing only 8% of people make it to get monetized can be really draining. The key is with those that stay consistent, don't give up when the videos don't get the views you're hoping to get and learning from every new video. Trust the process, the algorithm will take care of it later!

Even though I am a small creator, one of my videos unexpectedly blew up three months ago, bringing in new subscribers. However, aside from that viral video, my other videos still get a modest number of views. While I am happy about the success of that video, I want to grow organically and naturally without necessarily chasing virality (if it happens, great, but if not, I'll keep going). At the end of the day, what I want most is to build an audience of like-minded people who stay on my channel for the ideas and purpose behind it rather than for a single video. So, I agree with you and like your very well-thought reflection. Thanks. 🙂✌
  • Thank you. Thanks for motivating us small Content Creator. 100% Gratitude~ Thanks Thanks From Singapore

We are ready to give 3-10 years for our college till we start earning money, we should probably give ourselves at least 5 years for youtube. But yes we should be hardworking throughout the process similar to what we would be in college. Passion is also important while doing content creation, milking views is easy but may not help you become great. Arcane Coral Best of luck for the future journey!! I hope you make through and become successful in the future.

It is important to find the small niche where you are the best in YT. There are very few people who are going deep into certain topics and their knowledge makes them valuable for viewers.

Thank you so much for your advice. I do struggle to upload my second video on my personal channel (after having a 5k+ sub Channel before) and it helps to hear what you say about the process. I also agree with you that we can be open here because we have such a supportive platform. Even you being pushed to me today shows how many small channels are being shown – I love that!
  • Everything you said makes sense. Deep down I felt like slow go is better than rise quick and fall.

Thank you so much for this. Getting pretty much no views after uploading and spending days on the video - it's uplifting to have this recommended on my home page. As you may know, a lot of us starting out, we don't really have that many like-minded people who get what we're trying to do in our in-person circles.

I like it when people watch my videos! Especially the ones about Taylor Swift
  • @JoinasTV
Really needed to hear this. Thank you for sharing your perspective!
  • I often feel like I'm speaking into the void! 🤣 It really seems like virality favors a specific type of personality and vibe. It's as if anyone who doesn’t fit into the algorithm’s preferred box just gets overlooked.
  • thank you for this video! i definitely learned this lesson with shorts… you can’t just follow the trends and analytics, bc even if they get you subs, they’re not people who will engage with your day to day content. 🤍 great video! stay strong fellow small creators! 💪🏼

Yess! I can agree on so many levels Arcane. As a small creator myself the last thing I want is to get a video that gets like 100,000 views all of a sudden. I would rather grow my community gradually and get some viewership from those people that decided to follow me over time.
  • @TMVVisualMedia
thank you! These kinds of videos always get me inspired to post more videos. Love it.
  • @pipspilot4099
You are right. I would say, don't bother about the numbers just keep going with something you love to teach or talk about.
  • @Kundalearni
You're spot on. Thank you so much for the advice. 🧡🙏

As a social media platform, I do find that YouTube is mostly very positive. People say nice things.
