“I used to work for the government, now I work for the public” “What does that mean” “I never realized there was a difference” That’s a powerful line

My wife asked me why i was whispering at home I said I was worried that Mark Zuckerberg was listening. She laughed. I laughed. Alexa laughed. Siri laughed. We all laughed...

This guy should be awarded with Nobel prize. for his achievement to humanity.
  • He's not a traitor - he stood up for what was right. His character is one in a billion.

I love how everytime anyone asks Ed a simple, quippy question, he gives the most eloquent, elaborate, and educated response! He's so damn intelligent!
  • “Consent is only meaningful if it’s informed” - Edward Snowden.

“Consent is only meaningful when we are informed” words of a hero.

He’s possibly THE most interesting person to listen to, for me personally. Not only due to the topic, but more so due to his amazing ability to instantly know why you asked the question, what you could be getting at and what you’re trying to learn from the answer. I’ve never communicated with anyone, in person, that could really hear me to that extent. Also, as someone else mentioned, his ability to put abstract and complicated thoughts into a 100% clear and communicable form is absolutely incredible. That’s what made me look for and watch all of his interviews I could find and be just as fascinated by the last one as I was by the first one.

This man sacrificed his whole livelihood and personal safety, just to tell his countrymen that we're being violated. We owe this man everything.

Once again, Comedy Central gives us an interview more legitimate than what we see on today's news mostly.

This person gave up a $200,000 annual salary just because he felt what he was doing at work was not right.

Kudos to Trevor for letting Snowden talk and naturally take the conversation where it goes, instead of being like a typical new reporter and forcing him to answer prepared questions.

"Consent is only meaningful when it's informed, and they lied to us." I love that line.
  • True Patriot. Gives up his family, his home life, a well paying career, and living in a foreign country all so his countrymen would know our government was spying on us. We need more patriots like him

A true hero. And mad respect to Trevor for talking to Edward with respect and dignity.
